“While on our cruise to Alaska, we stopped in Skagway and visited this little jewelry store. The husband and wife who own the store were so very helpful and helping my husband and I pick out jewelry that will forever help commemorate our cruise. I hate that we live so far away, but my pocketbook does not because I would probably be in there every week shopping. They were so very sweet and helpful and didn’t make it feel like I was spending money. I can’t wait to go back to Skagway but when I do, they will definitely be the Very first shop I go to as soon as I get off of the cruise ship.”

I always grab a pair of handcrafted earrings while vacationing, preferring paper earrings. Taiya led me to some beautiful ivory and bone earrings that go with so many things. “We visited the Skagway, Alaska Monarch Jewelry Store in August 2025 while on our 40th Anniversary and Retirement Cruise. My husband wanted to purchase my Anniversary gift while on our vacation. We went to Monarch Jewelry and found the most beautiful Anniversary Band with seven diamonds. I fell in Love with it. I raise Monarch Butterflies so purchasing my treasure at a store with this name made it even more special. When I arrived home Unfortunately one of the diamonds had fallen out. I contacted Monarch Jewelry and they had it repaired and diamond replaced at no charge to me except shipping to get it repaired. It is September and I received my ring back yesterday and it is Beautiful. Thank You.
