About The Mascot Saloon
The Mascot Saloon is a free place to visit, like stepping back in time to the gold rush days. It gives a good 1890s vibe with several interesting exhibits, including a bar, monuments, pictures, and other interesting stuff. The entrance is free, and visitors can learn about the history of the Yukon Rd. and the Gold Rush, especially the typical way of living of local people during that era. It is open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and is a quick, easy stop while in Skagway.

A quick easy stop- we stopped in while waiting for our shuttle.

Really cool place with several interesting exhibits. Really gave a good 1890s vibe. Wanted to stay longer, but alas, I chose six kids, not soaking it all in. NPS almost always hits the spot.
