“We had an amazing experience here. I can't say enough good things. The couple who run the facility are very hospitable and kind. The service is top-notch. The cabins are cozy, clean, and well equipped. A welcome sign had my name written on it for a personal touch. We were invited to the lodge for s'mores over the fire and conversation. And bonus the northern lights put on a private show for us! A hidden gem for sure - would love to return some day.”

“The guesthouse is located outside of town. The common area included a full kitchen, large dining table, and comfortable lounging areas. There is laundry facilities inside on the main floor. The private rooms are spacious with 2 twin beds that can be made into a king bed, a small armoire, chair, and nightstand. There are 2 private baths on each floor. Very warm and we coming atmosphere. Parking is minimal. There are only 9 rooms so as long as there is only 1 vehicle per room everyone has a parking space. Each night we were there all 9 rooms were booked.
Rooms: The rooms are spacious and clean. Each room has a locking door for privacy and security.”

“A great place to stay in Talkeetna. The fireplace wasn't working when we stayed there... So not exactly "fireside". But they put an electric heater in our room that eventually warmed it up okay. If you're looking for that romantic feature of the wood stove - maybe call ahead and make sure they've fixed them.
The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay there again.”

“The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an older hotel and some of the rooms are very small but it was manageable for one night. The location is nice as the town in general is very small and quaint. Solid experience overall and would use again if in the area.”

Rooms: The size of your typical hotel room! You have everything you need and the space as well. Perfect for an Alaskan getaway.
Walkability: Sidewalks actually makes sense and get you to where you need to go. Easy to navigate as well, and no steep hills or anything. Everything is easily accessible.”
