“A great place to stay in Talkeetna. The fireplace wasn't working when we stayed there... So not exactly "fireside". But they put an electric heater in our room that eventually warmed it up okay. If you're looking for that romantic feature of the wood stove - maybe call ahead and make sure they've fixed them.
The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay there again.”

“The river view from this B&B is beautiful. We enjoyed time in the deck. The room is very cozy & tiny, just enough space to sleep & make cup of coffee. The room was neat & clean. The breakfast was kept in the room refrigerator, the main breakfast sitting area was closed due to Covid.”

“The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an older hotel and some of the rooms are very small but it was manageable for one night. The location is nice as the town in general is very small and quaint. Solid experience overall and would use again if in the area.”

“Lovely lodge. Be aware that there is no air conditioning and on a day over 70 that's really an issue in the guest rooms. Beautiful views from the deck. Hiking trails are maintained. Restaurant serves decent food”

“Stayed here for a girls weekend. Lovely very comfortable cabins. Perfect location and atmosphere. We got there very late because of an accident on the highway and they had keys waiting for us. We really hoping to come back!”
