The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an older hotel and some of the rooms are very small but it was manageable for one night. The location is nice as the town in general is very small and quaint. Solid experience overall and would use again if in the area.

I dont know that I needed a 4-5 person room all to myself but that was what was available and the price was right. It was clean and the water pressure/hot water was perfect. Location is awesome. My only problem was with the town itself. I didn’t realize Talkeetna was mostly elderly white women with gem shops.

Nice inn right in TALKEETNA but off of the main “strip” so you avoid any crowds or noise which was nice. Instead you are tucked away and our room faced the water. Pillows were thin & bathroom towels were small but bed was comfortable and the shower got hot quick! And it was quiet
