Sheep Creek Lodge offers a cozy and rustic dining experience that many guests enjoy. Visitors frequently praise the delicious breakfast options, noting that the food consistently hits the spot. One of the highlights is the housemade root beer and ginger beer, which guests find refreshing. The service is often described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some reviews mention that the food can be overly fried, especially during evening meals. While many guests appreciate the meals, there are occasional comments regarding the quality, with some dishes falling short of expectations. For instance, while buffalo wings and grilled cheese received mixed reviews, breakfast remains a standout choice. The lodge is a great stop for travelers looking for an authentic experience while on the road, and the overall vibe is cozy and inviting. Although it might not be the quickest option for those in a hurry, many agree that the wait is worth it for a satisfying meal in a charming setting.
A nice place to get a good meal if you're driving from Anchorage to Fairbanks. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait, especially around lunch or dinnertime, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are surprisingly reasonable considering how far it is from town.

Laid back atmosphere and good food. Got breakfast here, the omelette and pancakes were both good! Worth a stop if you’re up there!

I've been in and out of these doors for the past 8 years, never have they let me down on the quality of food, the burgers are what I like but lately I find the chicken fried steak hard to pass up. Always felt like Grandmas house very down home. I love bringing my family here from out of state.
