Cooper's Dog Cabin
114 Eagle Cres Unit 2, BanffOne of the best parts of our trip to Banff was finding Cooper’s Dog Cabin for dog daycare. Our almost 2 year old Corgi thoroughly enjoyed his play time. An exhausted puppy is a happy puppy and grateful parents. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!! Job well done!!!

This month, I did not have a chance to make it out so I called in and asked if they could ship me a couple of these special toys to Calgary. Ward personally delivered them to me a couple days later. Boss burger was pretty good too, as well as the mango django smoothie. Gyozas were perfect. We didn’t like the nachos, they had a lot of toppings and the flavor combinations were a bit strange. A little expensive especially in terms of the drinks, but it makes sense since it’s located in a tourist town.

Korean fried chicken was flavourful and my bison tartar with bone marrow went well together as a whole. The chimichurri on the side pulled it together and made the dish refreshing.

Brazen
138 Banff Ave, BanffOutstanding service by Hannah at the Brazen Restaurant. The food was delicious. Every bite was a little piece of heaven. We had the duck wings as an appetizer, ginger beef for our main and the brazen potatoes and roasted carrots as sides. Finished off with the crème brûlée and a blueberry tea. Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff work as a team and I don’t think anything will disappoint.

The Eddie Burger + Bar

And with it comes the realization that you're in a tourist town where the clientele changes every day. Places can serve mediocre food and still stay busy. So you do a little homework, roll the dice, and hope for the best.
Sometimes you roll double sixes.
That was our experience at Eddie Burger + Bar, with Emma as our server.
The menu is simple and straightforward. Feeling a little undecided, my wife and I both ordered the Classic Eddie Burger with all the fixings, along with fries and a green salad.
Oh my gosh.
We were absolutely blown away. The burger was fantastic—juicy patty, melted cheese, bacon, a great bun, and fries that were perfectly done. But what really surprised us was the side salad. Fresh, crisp greens tossed in Italian dressing before being served in a burger basket alongside the meal. It sounds simple, but it was outstanding and easily enough for my bride and me to share.
Emma was the icing on the cake. Friendly, warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing.
If you're visiting Banff and looking for a great burger, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It succeeds because the people there clearly care about what they're doing. You can taste the pride they take in preparing and serving good food.
Sometimes a restaurant is just a meal.

Suggestion: just a quick refresh of decor and lighting, improve back of bar area would go a long way. Add a non-alcoholic beer option.

Coyotes Southwestern Grill

We still talk about this breakfast and how good it was! Not to mention the service was so great. Definitely will be stopping anytime we are in Banff!!

Sky Bistro
100 Mountain Ave, BanffI honestly don’t even have the words to describe this restaurant. It’s not cheap, of course, but the vibe and the food are totally worth it!
The starters and wine were really delicious. The only thing I could slightly complain about were the desserts — they offer birthday tables, but there isn’t a big selection of cakes.
Still, I would definitely recommend it!
