I was a bit worried about how long it might take for it to arrive as it was for an upcoming occasion/trip. When I inquired, Matt replied super quick assuring me there should be no issue. The shipment arrived incredibly quick, well packed and with a nice note wishing me well on my trip. It's easy to loose the personal touch when shopping online but this transaction really made me feel like I was shopping at a great local pet store. Thanks very much for the great product and service. Looking forward to more purchases in the future.

Good Folk
600 Banff Ave #1000, BanffWe chose GoodFolk in Banff to celebrate a special occasion, but left with mixed feelings. I wanted to share our experience to help others decide if it's right for their trip.
Front-of-house greeted us warmly and acknowledged our occasion right away, setting a nice tone. Oddly, that recognition didn't translate to anything further—no compliment from the kitchen, drink, or small dessert. Since they specifically asked at the door, omitting it felt inconsistent.
The space sits inside a new hotel with a modern design; the open kitchen. Our server worked hard and did his best, but he was stretched thin across at least 5tables in different locations, which limited his attentiveness. The menu offers a good range for most tastes, and while there was no kids' menu online, he recommended solid options when asked.
Food was a mixed bag. My main dish was well prepared and the fish was cooked perfectly, though the side of brussels sprouts was overly buttery—a letdown for the price point. Overall the food was positive, but the bill felt high for what we received.
Management presence was noticeable, but not effective. Our water glasses sat empty and our table went unattended for long stretches while our server struggled. A manager walking the floor should step in to help in those moments rather than just observe. At this price, that service gap left a negative impression.
GoodFolk is solid, but not exceptional. Staff moved quickly, but only a few were actually working while others seemed to wander without purpose. I didn't fully enjoy the evening and probably won't return, though you should judge for yourself based on your own needs.

We arrived just as happy hour ended - most rolls are 50% off during then, next time we'll take advantage of that!
It was not overly busy, but the restaurant was full!
10/10, would recommend.

Brazen
138 Banff Ave, BanffWe came to Brazen for a last minute dinner while waking through downtown Banff. We walked right up and were seated right away. We absolutely loved the family style food to share! We got the roasted chicken, roasted carrots, roasted potatoes and the cornbread with berry butter. The food was hot and delicious! We also got the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was perfection! The service was exceptional, I highly recommend eating here! The atmosphere was great too!

Coyotes Southwestern Grill
206 Caribou Street, BanffI am a long time patron of Coyotes in Banff. Been going since it opened. We went last month with visitors and again tonight. I drive about 30 min to get there and it is always worth the trip. The staff are experienced and have the timing and visits to the table just right. The chef and line cooks are in sync, everybody knows what they are supposed to do. Its a pleasure to dine there.
As for the food, outstanding again. Although we have tried mostly everything on the menu I enjoyed my pasta with pesto and shrimp. Really excellent. Partner enjoyed the same thing he always has, shrimp enchiladas with the wonderful house salad included and roasted potatoes. I am happy to give this restaurant a 5 star rating, its well deserved.

205 Bear Street, BanffOur server Will was an exceptional service provider, finding time to talk to us about what the restaurant had to offer, gave advice and recommendations and applauded our choices while taking time to talk to us on a personal level between jobs. The pizza was excellent and the Lime Meringue was outstanding. The vibe of the place was great and giving us time to explore the brewery was a nice way to finish. Would return if I wasn't going back home to Australia.

203 Caribou Street, BanffSuch a fun spot! The four of us ate upstairs on the rooftop and absolutely loved the vibes. Colourful, quirky interiors and a really fun atmosphere. It was a great change from some of the more traditional restaurants around Banff. The margaritas were a highlight, especially the coconut margarita. So good! The food was delicious, portions were good and prices were really reasonable. Definitely worth checking out! 🌮🌮
