My partner and I were completely blown away by the groom she received, and the kindness the groomer showed us.
The shop is clean and bright, with nice decor, and it’s obvious that the owner and staff are passionate about grooming/dog care.

Mountain Animal Hospital and Mobile Veterinary Care
512 Bow Valley Trail Unit 101, CanmoreWe had been out camping in the area and unfortunately, our dog injured himself by doing some kind of jump with a twist. As it resulted in him dragging a rear leg, it was quite scary. It required a vet visit while we were out of town and we had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Nathan Bernadet.
He assessed the injury, gave a painkiller with muscle relaxant and did a thorough exam with x-rays. He helped put some frantic dog parents at ease and we are pleased to say that our dog is now doing much better. We are grateful for being able to get in on a Sunday and for Dr. Bernadet’s expertise and also grateful for his lovely front desk staff.

502 Bow Valley Trl, CanmoreWe have been bringing our pets to Canmore Vet Hospital for about 25 years and have always had wonderful experiences.
Over the years, they have cared for five dogs and two cats for our family. Dr. Sylvia, Dr. Karen, and Dr. Ian have always been kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive - as well as the rest of the team.
What we appreciate most is that they never push unnecessary procedures, treatments, or medications. Their recommendations have always felt thoughtful and based on what is truly best for my pets.
The entire team is compassionate, professional, and takes the time to listen, answer questions, and provide reassurance when needed.
We still trust them completely with the care of my pets, and we are very grateful to have such an exceptional veterinary team in our community.

Somewhat limited menu selection and a smaller room so not recommended for large groups. But high quality and the service is top notch. Attentive but not annoying.

Wagashi Tea House
Inside of Garden Centre, 60 Lincoln Park, CanmoreIt's a very lovely restaurant/cafe located in a greenhouse. Their food was very well plated and made fresh. I had the Wagashi waffle and my partner had the croque monsieur.
The waffle was quite large but it was very very good. The red bean paste here is amongst the smoothest I've had and I would come back for that.
My partner says the Croque Monsieur was very good as well and seeing as I wasn't offered a bite I assume it was too good to share. Their mochi is made fresh and has the perfect balance of soft, chewy, and smooth at the same time.
It is highly recommended to reserve ahead of time as they rarely have open spots for walk-ins. I would come here again the next time I'm in Canmore.

Lovely Ice Cream & Treats
300 Old Canmore Rd #101, CanmoreJust driving through and needed a little treat to finish the rest of our road trip. Greeted AT the door and warmly welcomed. The treats were gorgeous and perfectly sweet. We did an ice cream cookie sandwich and the cream puffs and neither disappointed.
What a gorgeous little hidden gem. If you’re craving something sweet this is the place to stop for sure. Happy travels!

We were a group of 5 and before we arrived they had made the extra pull out bed, added extra towels and when we checked out they call 10 minutes after we left to say we had forgotten something in the room. Nice little details go a long way. Rooms are super cozy and location is great. Would definitely recommend!

I just want to start by saying I will definitely be back to this establishment! I visited on March 22, and the gentleman working there made me a matcha smoothie that was absolutely amazing. Not only was the drink incredible, but his customer service was top-tier.
I even went back the very next day with my sister just so I could get another one, and she got a smoothie as well—which she also loved!
I’m usually a Starbucks girl, but honestly, this matcha smoothie beats Starbucks for me. It was that good.
You should seriously consider opening a location in Toronto! I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Canmore.

We ordered the double fondue and bring less chocolat that the single one. The Montreal sandwich is so good, and the chicken waffle too, but small for the price. Apple bacon is ok.

Took it home and paired it with a beautiful red wine. Perfect meal to end a great day in Canmore. We might go back tomorrow since we both loved it!!

The cozy, inviting atmosphere inside is lovely, and we really appreciated that all of their unique dishware is thrifted rather than newly bought—such a cool, sustainable touch.
We sat out on the patio, which had a great vibe, though it’s worth noting there aren't many options for shade if you're sensitive to the sun. The only minor critique is that the service was a little on the slower side and could have been a bit friendlier, but the quality of the food and drinks absolutely makes this a great place to return to!
