Black Diamond Hotel is a clean and comfortable hotel in a cool, nostalgic building that is very well taken care of. The rooms are immaculate and quiet. Its location is perfect with everything in walking distance. The bar and restaurant downstairs is great, with a fancy old saloon look, offering excellent food and beverages. The cuisine is outstanding country style, with fresh, quality ingredients and home-style meals like steak, shepherd's pie, and meat loaf that are delicious and worth the drive. Service is friendly, efficient, and accommodating, with meals served quickly. It is a calmer place to experience southern Alberta.
