I had a bad experience at AKB Auto Repair. My car requires 0W-16 engine oil, but they almost filled it with 0W-20. When I pointed it out, they just said “oh sorry, I didn’t notice.” Mistakes like that can seriously affect a vehicle, and it shows a lack of attention to detail. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend them if you care about proper service.

Edit: Really great people — even on a busy Sunday afternoon, they accepted me right before closing to change my rear axle brake pads and rotors. But they failed to see my failing caliper which caused the problem. Had to change everything again upon reaching Castlegar BC.
