It is good to see that there are still honest repair shops in Calgary! My daughter had an inspection done. It was quick and easy to get an appointment. She'd always gone to the Dealership and was surprised by the repairs Victor and his team found. He showed her the broken parts that had been missed in all of her maintenence appointments. She was given a reasonable quote with no pressure. The car was fixed when specified and didn't have any hidden costs. There was a waiting room with couches. Both the receptionist and the shop manager were friendly and kind. We've found ourselves an auto shop we trust!

Victor got my insurance inspection done timely. He didn't just slap a paper in my hand; he took me into the shop to see what he needed me to know. He explained and answered my questions. I highly recommend Alberta Auto Sales & Repair because they are very personable and do good work. Thank you!

Needed an insurance vehicle report and it was able to be done the same day. One issue was found and they fixed it the following day.
Victor and staff were very friendly and prices seemed to be reasonable.

Having just moved to Calgary, I was asked to get an Out of Province (OOP) inspection done for my vehicle, which made absolutely no sense to me, since it is a brand new 2025 Mazda CX5, but anyways, that had me frantically looking up reviews for where I could get this done, and I finally landed upon Alberta Auto Sales & Repairs since it was reasonably close to my residence and had great reviews.
They were absolutely great to deal with - right from submitting a quote, I appreciated that they even responded back to me on New Year's day! They were able to get me booked in for an appointment super quick.
On the day of the appointment, everything went smoothly. They even have a waiting lounge upstairs with a comfortable sofa to wait while they do their thing - along with free WiFi as well! They completed the inspection within two hours and as expected, no issues were found. Got my certificate and completed my registration the evry same day too!
Regrading the pricing, I was quoted $125 + taxes and consumables - overall, I paid $142 for the inspection. Although I didn't look up a lot of other auto shops, I still feel the pricing was quite competitive and reasonable and I am happy with the service.
Overall I would highly recommend Alberta Auto Sales & Repairs to anyone looking for an OOP inspection.

They performed out of province inspection for my van. Advised me some minor preventative measures and showed me under the van pictures for a better understanding. I will highly recommend anybody for inspection or routine maintenance.There customer service is excellent with a private waiting room with toilet

If your a guy like me who usually does his own work but occasionally you have a shop do stuff for you because you don't have the time
Inspect carefully every last thing these place touches
They are very reasonably priced
But you get what you pay for
From blaming a bad lean on cab mounts I discovered they didn't use the bottom sway bar link bushing and trimmed the spacer on one side 2-3 inches short for some inexplicable reason causing the lean but because they probably didn't want to do the warranty on their work they just blamed it on the cab mounts
To a knocking sound in the front after they worked on it and they were like we can't find anything oh well bye
If you don't work on your own vehicles I don't recommend this place at all
If you do then go for it
Reasonably priced
But hold them to their work and inspect every last thing they possibly could have touched
But overall
Go to gigantelli auto
More expensive but easily the most trustworthy shop I've ever dealt with

I went to get an out-of-province inspection done. They gave me an estimate of 2000, When I took it to another shop, they did all the work for me for $900.

Excellent shop. Everyone I met was great. Nothing to do around the place (it's very industrial), but they had a room upstairs where I could sit down on a couch and work while I waited. Nice people. I'd recommend them.

I was able to get in right away for an out of province inspection. Very friendly and fast service. They have a waiting room with a couch and a tv for you to wait in!! I was very pleased with the experience and will definitely be using them again!! Affordably priced!!

I had excellent experience with Alberta Auto Sales & Repairs. They are very professional and honest, didn't try to sell me any unnecessary part. I got same day appointment for out of province inspection and completed it in 3 hours. I highly recommend their service.

Good communication, very fast service for a reasonable price. Had out of province inspection done, they were somewhat nitpicky about things that a different auto shop said would be fine to pass. But otherwise great service.
