Nice place to work and have fun time with cats. They are all very angelic. If you are only a cat person and not a dog person, then this place is not for you. Cat room is all surrounded by dog kennels. Some staff are also careless while hoovering around with dog they forget the cat room and volunteer in cat room. There is a possibility that you can be cornered by a distressed and aggressive dog.

I volunteer with ARF and have adopted from them as well. ARF truly prioritizes the care and wellbeing of the animals.

I adopted 2 kittens from ARF and had an amazing experience. They're extremely helpful and very kind throughout the process and I can tell they really took care of the kittens I adopted.

I visited the Trinity Hills Petsmart yesterday and would like to enquire about the kitten Milo. He's being kept in an enclosure all by himself. I've spoken by the staff today over phone and she sworn he's being taken care of fantastically and that he's not being by himself - they have staff interacting with him all day. But when i first asked about him, she thought he's not there (adopted). How can they be interacting with him all day and not know whether he's still there or not? She said he has toys, food and water but I didn't see these yesterday and I spend over 45 mins there observing him (and no, there's no staff interacting with him). She claimed that that must have been a time when the staff was cleaning his cage... Anyway, she also said that Milo cannot have soft toys as he's ripping them apart. I felt terrible for Milo. Since his litter mate has been adopted, can he go to a foster home instead of being caged alone? He looks depressed as can be expected. He's very social and a loving, intelligent kitten but I felt like he's dealing with depression for being alone with no mental stimulation. He craves attention and interaction. This prolonged caging alone thing at this stage of his life could create life long behavioural issue causing foreseeably more abandonment issue throughout his life, not to mention future well-meaning but frustrated adoptive owner(s). Please, I am just hoping ARF would do all it can to prevent this for Milo. Regards.

My fiancé and I are heart broken with the experience We had with the staff between ARF and Pisces.
My fiancé and I are looking to adopt a kitten to have as a second companion and a play mate for my 3 year old cat.
We fell in love with one of the kittens “Janet”.
we filled out an application form.
Within the week we got a call back. To set up a meet and greet at Pisces.
We arranged it for the upcoming Saturday which was Saturday November 13th.
The days pass and my fiancé and I are getting prepared and exited for this meet and greet.
On Friday November 12th I wanted to look at her cute little face again and noticed on her profile it said successfully adopted.
We both checked our email to make sure we didn’t get any emails saying that she has been adopted and our meet and greet was canceled.
(There was no emails sent)
I then phoned Pisces that night (Friday November 12th) to ask and if the meet and greet is still a go, now I should have specified which cat I was to meet.
Whoever I was speaking to confirmed that our appointment was on Saturday the 13th at 2pm
I got even more excited thinking that she was ours and they just updated the website and didn’t tell us
So now it’s Saturday the 13th and we’re getting everything ready to go (our cats vaccine papers ID’s everything we needed.)
We pulled up into the parking lot, 10 minutes until 2 for someone to call my fiancé and tell us that Janet has been successfully adopted.
I asked why I didn’t get a call or email saying she was adopted and the person said that they just found out “10 minutes ago.” When in fact it seemed they might have known before Saturday. They offered us to come in and meet and greet a pair of kittens, to which we both Declined.
When it was specified on the adoption form that I only have room for one kitten as I already have a playful cat at home. We left empty handed not even being able to meet the kitten we fell in love with.
I’m am happy Janet got adopted and understand they can’t hold cats and kittens for weeks on end or first come first serve,
but to wait until 10 minutes until the meet and greet to call and let us know is very unprofessional, wasted our time getting our hopes up and breaking our hearts.
I would advise to choose other rescues before going here.

Great experience with ARF all around, my best fur buddy Popcorn agrees. Rachael the coordinator was amazing and Jessica the foster mom was great and caring!
