This was horrible time. Went and talked to customer support and their help was to call support and wait 6 months for help. USELESS. NEVER BUY APPLE PRODUCTS.

Today I ruined my laptop with water by accident and even with Apple care it is $400 because they have to rebuild the laptop. Was disappointed to hear that they couldn't replace it and instead I have to wait up to 10 days to get my laptop back oh and they don't have loaners. So pretty terrible solution in my opinion.

I just got my battery replaced for my iPhone 14 Pro Max at this location yesterday afternoon. I handed them my phone in excellent condition, only had very little and minor scratches (and yes, I absolutely know this because I’m extremely particular about keeping my device in excellent condition so I notice every new scratch). When I got my phone back, there were quite a few new, deep and VERY noticeable scratches on the sides of it, especially near the antennas. I know that this isn’t a big deal to a lot of people but it definitely is quite a big deal to me. Seems that whoever did my repair did not care at all. Very unprofessional on their part to have handled it kind of carelessly. It’s just the principle of trusting someone to handle your expensive device properly and then to find out that they couldn’t care less if they had cosmetically damaged your expensive device. I paid $141.75 for them to scratch my phone, basically. I gave two stars instead of one star though because I had a pleasant interaction with Tom a week prior to this. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the battery I needed in stock at the time so I had to wait for one to arrive to get the battery replacement started.
Either way, my experience with the battery replacement was disappointing and a little bit frustrating. I will probably never go back to the Chinook Apple location for any kind of repairs on my future apple devices. Never again. I do not recommend this location for repairs and battery replacements. Please look at other options before considering this location for that.

Booked a battery replacement at the Apple Store a week in advance, thinking an appointment actually meant something. I showed up on time, waited 20 minutes past my slot, went through diagnostics, agreed to the $130 fee—only for the tech to return and tell me they were “too busy” to do it today. Why have an appointment system if it’s meaningless? And if they were that backed up, why wasn’t I notified to reschedule before I wasted my time coming in? After jumping through all their hoops, I left with the same old battery, a wasted afternoon, and zero faith in their customer service.

I came here with my IPhone 11 and it was having some problems and I had Layla come over and she was doing her best to help me and then I got referred to a technician to help out with the problem my phone was having, but Layla did her best to fix the problem and I still love coming here because I know someone else who is a technician now and he works here and he does amazing job at fixing problems with phones, in my opinion everyone here does their best at fixing anyone’s problems with their products and this is the best Apple location in Calgary. I would come here again!

Omg what a horrific experience I just had at this location! Walked in, having done my homework - ready to buy my new iMac in one of the 7 juicy colours and prepared to leave my old Mac to have my photos transferred only to be told none of the 7 juicy colours were available…. Silver it would be oh darn never the less I would persevere, let’s bring the silver iMac down and get this done! That’s when I was told that I would not be able to leave the old computer to do a data transfer because there was no tech to ‘check’ me in!!! 20 or more staff milling around the floor and the Genius Bar but not a genius in sight who could accept my old computer and my money and get this done, …what a joke - not even an effort to find a solution other than come back another day …. No thanks Apple Chinook!!! I will shop elsewhere Apple retail locations what is the point of your existence?

I wanted to give a shout out to a gentleman by the name of Sega at this location. He very professionally prescribed a MacBook Pro laptop to me by asking many questions as to my use of this computer… That was important to me because I was under the impression that I needed more than I did. Sega’s knowledge was very impressive and his customer service was next level. I am a lifelong Apple customer for this very reason because of their products and reputation .
