Terrible and condescending customer service from a tech (can’t remember his name). Bureaucratic (obviously) and are not willing to help. I showed up to my appointment for a black screen on my iPhone , waited longer than people who showed up after me. The tech looked at my phone for a few minutes and diagnosed it. He told me that my screen could not be replaced because the back was cracked. When I asked if there are any other methods to remove the screen (which there are) he brushed me off with a “trust me, I do repairs” and then handed me a $600 bill for a replacement of my phone. This isn’t a tech issue, but a store/ business policy as the way he proceeded was quick and to the point. I got up and left. Found a stand that does screen replacements and got a high quality screen for $160. If you want apple parts, it’s unfortunate but you must deal with this level of bureaucracy. If you don’t care, and want your phone to work like all other iPhones, you have plenty of options in stands, kiosks and shops that can repair your phone (front and/ or back… just do your research obviously).

Today I was in with my elderly father to buy a new iPhone SE. My father is deaf and has had a stroke. Whenever we go out he gets little to no patience from customer service reps. But today we had the best customer service experience we have ever here.Thank you Tim for taking the time with my dad and explaining everything about his new phone. He commented on the way home about how great you were!! And he also appreciated your comment on his snowbirds cap. He may not have looked like he was listening but he was. Thank you!!!!We will be back for all our iPhone purchases.

Poor customer service and willingness to help when in store. I was unable to complete an order online, and was helped by an SA over the phone. Upon arrival, my order was “still processing” and the SA in store just gave me a shrug saying that she couldn’t do anything. No options for recourse whatsoever. 30 minutes later, I wasn’t even addressed by anyone in the store. Now, I’m on the phone with customer service and they’re try to push the order through. Only when I escalated the issue to management was I offered any real help.If you’re making a purchase of high dollar items, and there’s a glitch in the system, I would at least expect some reassurance that either the solution would come soon, or simply one at all. I certainly remember why I prefer not to step inside these stores.

I was told by apple that they'd replace my device, but only if I pay shipping , when I went to pay it also had a 900 plus holding fee they're trying to charge me until I send it away. So I called back they told me to go into the store and I can change it there . I drove all the way to apple and they changed their minds in the store , and told me no, the only way to replace it was for me to mail it away. Upsetting after the long drive and being there several times , I told her what apple agreed to over the phone. They said they'd ask , the girl went out back , came back to me several minutes later and said sorry we can't . We can't find any issues, we can't see any flaws , I've reset the phone and did everything they've asked . And they come back with that's too bad note. And told me they have to send it away and to get it checked and that I'd have to wait or if I wanted replacement , to send it back myself . But they won't replace in store . Sadly this was a very misleading experience. So finally I took it in again yesterday to another location , my phone had died , just as I was arriving to the London drugs location in the next... so this was convenient. When I handed the guy the phone he automatically went to plug it in , said no, try turning it on right now ... he couldn't . I said now plug it in , he did it came on at 60% still there. I told him , I felt as though Apple Stores I was previously at didn't believe me and kept sending me on my merry way , telling me there is nothing wrong . So then, he ran software test hardware test only to see what the other Apple locations seen , the phones coming up as perfect with 100% battery life , but as he witnessed , it does not turn on when it blacks out at 4-50-60% , unless you plug it in. So he said he'd replace it . when he came out he said Apple wants to have this sent in so they can check it , and that he can't replace it because they're adamant about seeing and testing it further. So long storey short they've seem to have wanted to never exchange and give a good replacement even after witnessing this happen. Rather send it away so I'll have a fixed one with less warranty because of the wait and process. Convenient for them in many ways . What else was convenient, one more person showed up as I was leaving the store with her brand new iPhone 14 telling them her phone shuts off randomly and she can't turn it on . What were the chances? I really think the policy they work with is poor and they try their best not to give you a replacement in anyway. Sadly this was time wasted and treatment during the time was unsatisfactory by all means . Horrible . I'd say watch what you buy at Apple stores here. And double triple check how your warranty works. They told me originally that all I'd be paying is 29 dollars for shipping they hadn't told me almost $1000, deposit until after the fact they sent the bill for the holding fee until the receive the old one. So I asked why not just let the store hold the old one and give me a new one? They said stores in Canada don't have enough inventory to replace , even though it was obviously not my issue . And obviously an issue on their end . The phone was never marked or repaired and still under warranty , I didn't want to go through the hassles of this service and don't want to again. I say be careful when shopping there . If they don't find any issues they'll send your device away and if they do find issues , guess what? They'll send your device away , leaving you with a crappy loaner that is NOT covered btw if you damage it . Just a waste of energy and time really

During my recent visit to the Apple Store at Chinook Mall, I had an experience that left me disappointed. Despite having Apple Care+, they refused to assist me with my issue hiding behind “policy”, it seemed both the genius tech and the manager weren’t bothered to help and would rather go on break. This was a frustrating and time-consuming visit and left without a solution. This frustration prompted me to spend a considerable 1.5 hours on the phone with Apple support in hopes of finding a resolution. While that phone call didn't provide an immediate solution, They suggested to book me an appointment at the Market Mall location on the same day, I agreed. This visit was a breath of fresh air compared to my earlier experience. The team at Market Mall were clearly more on brand from the moment I walked in the store. They quickly and efficiently resolved my issue in under 15 minutes, and even helped me decide on a new iPhone while I was there. It was a great reminder that exceptional customer service can sometimes require thinking beyond the usual solutions. In the end, this experience reaffirmed my belief in the importance of customer service that goes above and beyond and that the intended customer service experience shouldn’t be hindered by a gate keeping attitude and ignoring simple facts. I'm grateful that there are still places within the Apple ecosystem like the Market Mall location where this dedication shines through.

Who doesn't love apple but their process needs to be fine tuned - I called the 1800 number and local store to ask if I could come down and wait in line for my phone as the pick up time I had would not work for me. Phone people said yes no problem, wait in the long line up (no problem) and you will be served. I get there to discover a rude girl who pretty much said I can stand in the line all I want, no one will help me. Yet while she is telling me this a guy shows up who is 45 min late for his pick up window and she says no problem go in the line. whatttttttt. I would have no issue at all if I wasn't told by 2 apple employees to go down and it would be fine. Yet I wasted an hour of my time and at the end of the day 2k for a new phone. I will literally hold onto this phone until it falls apart. Apple loses my business next year. Buying a pro max is a want for the most part not a need, they should do good to remember that.

A guy was rude an unaccommodating since I wasn’t able to pick up on my pickup window. I was willing to wait anyways and for them to not accommodate us doesn’t sit well to me. They could’ve inserted us little by little. I even asked the guy why they didn’t staff the store appropriately since it’s release day today and that they should’ve learned lessons on how to manage lineups on release dates just like today. I had a really pleasant experience last year but this year is definitely putting a bad taste in my mouth.

Went there to make an exchange of a brand new unopen product that I purchased online 4 days ago.Took an appointment and when I got there, the first employee at the entrance made it look like it's gonna be hard to do with his face expression. He calls the second employee who was just talking to me in the military way, very strict, short answers and dry the whole time and made me feel like I did something wrong.First and last visit to this Apple store.

I'd like to leave a review for Tim - sales rep. We came in looking to purchase a Mac mini M2Pro and he was very friendly right from the get go. He was super knowledgeable, answered all our questions, was honest and went above and beyond to make sure that I was purchasing the right product for my needs. I left feeling like it was the ultimate experience. Thank you so much Tim!

I always have a good experience when I purchased my MacBook Pro 16 and apple watch series 8 from this Apple store. First, you need to put down your name on the list to get served, then the staff will come and assist you. The staff was nice and very helpful. The service was great. The store can get really busy, so just be patient and wait and you’ll get your best service and devices!

Was told it would take 15 minutes to pick up an already paid order, took 2+ hours and 1 hour on hold on the phone. These guys do not want to help you unless you are white and can start yelling at them. I’ve had better customer service at junkyards than these robots walking around with iPads. The only gentleman that was actually helpful was the one helping me in the end.

I always have problems in this location when I am trying to replace the phone battery. Today (July 2), I had an appointment to replace the phone battery, I was told that they don’t have it in stock. That wouldn’t be a problem if I just dropped in without a reservation. That didn’t happen and I made the reservation a week ago. Very unorganized and not impressed at all. What else should we do other than a reservation? No respect for others’ times.I am not sure who to blame? Is the whole logistics system of Apple have a problem?

Came in to do a trade in and upgrade to a 14 Pro Max today (June 26th 2023 5:00pm) Received world star service from Marie. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient through the whole process. She treated me like a friend instead of just another customer. This first experience of mine with the Apple store will not be forgotten.
