I had to have an out of town inspection the said they could fix my car to pass be inspection 5 days later tell me the guy went on vacation I still don't know if I'll make the 10day limit for insurance do not go there again stay away

If the technician screws up your wheel alignment the repercussions and costs are on you! Got a “wheel alignment” done when I had ball joints replaced when I got it back I could immediately tell it wasn’t right while driving it. Took it back and waited while it was done again. I then asked if they were sure it was done properly this time and I was told it was. Put a new set of tires on at Canadian tire 3000kms later and 7000kms after that both front tires had worn 10/32 on the outer edges already as it was toed way in. I had purchased the replacement advantage at Canadian tire and took it there and they wouldn’t replace them because it was due to a mechanical problem. Called auto pro stop about it on the same day on Saturday and they offered to replace them at cost. I said I shouldn’t have to pay several hundred dollars to replace them again already and I was then told they’d discuss it with management and get back to me on Tuesday. Near the end of the day on Tuesday I called as they hadn’t called me and I was told it was forgotten but they’d call me back in a few minutes which did not happen nor did they speak to me on Wednesday. Thursday I went over there and Keeshan seemed to understand my frustration and agreed the premature wear was terrible and took pictures of all the documentation I had and the horrible condition my tires were already in and he said he’d call me the next day. Friday I was told by Keeshan that Ash would only give me a refund for the alignment and would not replace the tires. Absolutely disgusting how much of my time and money was wasted and the lack of accountability. Needless to say I won’t be going back and I will warn many others to stay away.
Update: took my truck to performance auto after this ridiculous incident and they found that my alignment couldn’t have been done properly as additional repairs were needed and auto pro stop had also failed to install the required adjustment sleeves when they replaced the ball joints so they needed to be removed and reinstalled again which was required to resolve the issue of the tires wearing out so fast. Having “pro” in their company name is a pathetic joke. If I had the time and money I would be suing them.
Reply to the owner: Did you see the picture of the alignment sheet Canadian tire gave me? Did you happen to notice the fact that they were toed in about as far as they could be? And my previous tires had not been wearing out like that before the alignment as I’m sure they were for the short time after like my new set after the pitiful work done. I replaced the tires because they were old not because they were new under 10,000kms ago. It wouldn’t have mattered if the alignment was done before or after. Your technician failed. Miserably. Performance auto appropriately referred to him as a moron. If they contacted you they could give you all the details they gave me. And what of the unbelievable runaround I was given? I’d say it should be common knowledge you don’t treat your customers that way that trust you with their vehicle and spend their hard earned money. Worst service I could’ve imagined.

Man, I have to say every time I go in here they tell me there’s something else wrong. They told me my rack & pinion needs replacement. I’ve drove to Nova Scotia and back since . They also told me That I would have to replace my tire rodents ends. Which are new and under warranty with Canadian tire. Canadian tire told me not to listen to them . The inner tire rod ends came with the rack &pinion, and the outter which are still under warranty are fine . I told the guys at auto Pro stop not to do any more inspections because every time I go there they would find something wrong, sure enough They did the inspections anyway and found something wrong. I’m tired of going there , because of this . I liked them at first , but I See that they like to find stuff wrong every visit. So I do not recommend these guys at all. It’s pretty bad when Canadian tire of all places disagree with their findings . And treated me better , telling me if I don’t want the inspections just let them know. Like I let auto stop know , and they still did them. They also found other leaks which weren’t there . I explained, and they said they’d need to maybe wash the area first. Also Canadian tire told me that the tire rod ends were fine , the inner come with the rack & pinion and the outer were new condition. They’d had just put all life time warranty ones on for me . Before auto stop tried to say they’re needed. Also these guys gave me a quote for labour since I’m supplying my own parts the quote went up. Ridiculous . I’d recommend checking their ratings. Or anyone’s ratings before using their services . Trust in the ratings.

I was sent to this auto shop because Good tire put my tires on and i needed to just get an alignment done.
However, i spent 2hr in the shop before they even would touch my car. Because I had happened to be a fender bender, which, good tire confirmed that it had not wrecked anything at all, and i just needed a wheel alignment
They were convinced that had put new parts on my car or that something was broken or twisted.
After 2.5 hours, they finally started to align the car. And then after playing around with it for a while, it wasn’t aligned properly, and the mechanic wouldn’t clear the controls on the dash until i had asked him. They also STILL made me pay for the work, even tho they hadn’t done what they were supposed too.

Every interaction I've had with this shop for over 20 years has been positive. I've referred many friends and family as well with positive feedback. Any negative reviews I'm reading are obviously from other auto pro locations. The best shop around is auto pro stop on 17 ave @ Hubalta road in Calgary. Keep up the great work fellows!!!

Went in to get a service. A few hours later I get a call and they are insisting that my car needs a few thousand dollars of repairs. This gave me major red flags because some things they were suggesting I change I had just replaced a couple months ago. Very unprofessional. If I could give a 0 star I would.

❗️❗️❗️⚠️⚠️ The worst shop you can ever visit. They will break your car and try to tell you all a bunch of extra stuff you need to fix. 100% scam shop - spend your money else where. It's unbelievable how bad this place is. You will come in for simple maintenance and leave with a badly damaged vehicle. I was left with a $5000 repair bill after they bent major components while doing a basic wheel balance. Read all the 1 star ratings and you'll see.. they can't even balance your wheels properly. If you've been done wrong by this place, file a complaint with amvic, better businesses bureau or Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction.

This has been the most convenient auto shop in terms of location and time (open on weekends), but in regards of work quality...nahhh! Good for minors repairs, oil changes etc. but if you are panning out for major one, forget it. They would recommend repairs that did not directly needed to what was the problem was.
