After my car was rear-ended, AVIS Body Shop turned a stressful situation into a smooth experience.
Ivan, the manager, was incredibly professional. He handled everything, from expertly managing the insurance claim to finding excellent replacement parts, ensuring my car looked perfect.
Kashif was equally amazing. He kindly drove me to get my rental car and was always responsive and helpful via phone and email.
The entire team's professionalism and genuine care were exceptional. I highly recommend AVIS Body Shop – they are truly outstanding!

I went in today after being recommended by a nearby auto supply store because I had some small cosmetic damage on my car. Around $1500-$2000 worth. Just from parking spot carelessness by other drivers car doors (no dents), or speed bumps, etc. This is how honest they were, due to the nature of the damage, the guy I spoke with said they would gladly fix if I insisted, however, he said the nature of the damages would likely recur due to day to day life interactions and incidents and that he would not repair if it was his car. Honest! I left feeling assured that the damage which were subtle would not cause any further deterioration. I didn't get his name, however, thank you Avis Auto Body team! Amazing customer service and integrity!

I had an awful experience with this specific shop. Following an accident last year, I selected it based on really good Google reviews. They left my vehicle outside, covered in snow for months which led to additional body damage and rust, initially they claimed parts were on the way and later suggesting the car was a write-off. The owner, Mr. Ivan, persistently pressured me for months to sign paperwork, alleging my insurance wouldn't cover all repair costs. Eventually, my insurance covered everything and provided receipts. Despite this, my car broke down after just two days due to a steering system failure.
I brought the car to an Acura dealership, where they confirmed a poorly executed repair job by the shop. The rack & pinion, a critical component of the repair, was leaking extensively, also they were paid out the repairs cost for certain repairs which they did not even bother doing but just charged the money, with assistance from my injury lawyer, I issued notices to the shop regarding their unprofessional repairs. The shop refused to acknowledge their errors, revealing their fraudulent and unprofessional conduct.
I trust this review will caution others considering this shop for repairs, helping them avoid the difficulties I encountered. In my opinion this place does not even deserve to have a single star.

Definitely the best guys when it comes to Auto repair…I was hit by a car way back in 2018 and it was hit and run.Avis not only helped me to fix the car but also they spoke with my insurance for all the claim.Highly recommended. And special thanks to Ivan for being so helpful when I needed the most.

Avis Auto body managed by Ivan John is one of the very few professional auto-body workshops in Calgary that understands their clients/customers and remembers that "All fingers are not equal" in terms of financial situation and cashflows. They worked with me to repair/replace and repaint my SUV in a professional and timely manner. I am glad that I found Avis Auto Body workshop on Google, gave them a call. I took my vehicle to them and after an appraisal of a deep scratch on the front plastic fender/bumper, they immediately accepted my vehicle, worked on it, and finished same in a professional manner within 24 hours. I had never been to Avis Auto Body before but found that right from the first visit they were very professional and returned my complicated damage back in perfect condition. I even was told by someone else outside the company that I was going there and they sang their praises saying, Ivan works the "magic" for him regularly and was surprised how fast and good they were. Ivan is very knowledgeable and honest. Took my car CX-5 Mazda to fix dents on the driver and passenger doors and front fender. The job was nicely done and was delivered couple of days ahead of promised day. He also took care of arranging rentals and took me to the rental in person. Overall end to end is taken care of without any hassle. Car was delivered like a new car with interior detailing done as bonus to customer. Highly recommend this shop.Service: Body & Trim
