“I was in the process of paying out my mortgage by National Bank. I was having some problems with a National Bank employee who left me disatisfied that all was in order. I dedided to go to a National Bank branch located in downtown Calgary. Was introduced to Banking Advisor Dennis Oseyi. Immediately he was polite and responsive. After some 20 minutes he returned to his office where my wife and I were waiting. He was able to advise us the the situation had been reviewed and some problems were sorted out. We left feeling a whole lot more confident the problem was resolved. From that point on we had full confidence in Dennis and the payout process as advised by Dennis took place exactly as planned.”

“I've been with this bank for years. Staff is very friendly. But now everything has changed. There are a couple of the old staff left but it's not the same. Your more like just a number and no one asks you how your doing. It's do your business and go.”
“I was happy with my experience with this Bank when I deposited large amounts of USD currency, did a currency conversion to CAD and being able to get a bank draft for it. The staff were friendly and helpful. I just had to show them one document showing where the funds came from (Las Vegas) and my ID. That was it.
I am happy that they were nothing like the CalForex where they would ask 20 different questions all requiring proof of my fund source, my employment location, my position in my company, my business card, my ID, needing to show my paystubs for the last 3 months, saying where the money is going, what color is my underwear (sarcasm), etc. Also, once the CalForex learned that this was had to do with Las Vegas, they declined my transaction saying it was too "high risk".
Five stars for TD for making this easy. The way it is supposed to be. Do your deposits and currency transactions here if they are over $3000.”
“I went there minutes ago and just needed money transferred from my savings to a TSFA. Sounds simple enough yet it was a challenge. One employee passed me on to the next. Vanessa then asked as the lady that saved the day. She was really patient, reassuring and walked me through the journey with her. She apologized for the delay and even allowed me access to the washroom despite it not being public. She was a really sweet lady. She seemed more worried about taking my time than I was and I appreciate that. She has a lot of compassion and is a gentle person. Thank you again Vanessa!”
