Bearspaw Golf Club is a sprawling 200-acre golf course located on the northwest edge of Calgary. It has hosted several prestigious golf tournaments, including the 1999 RCGA Mid-Am Championship, the 2009 Alberta Amateur Championship, and the 2011 ATB Financial Classic presented by Telus. Golfers can enjoy the course from 8 different yardage combinations, ranging from 5136 yards to 6750 yards. The course, designed by Bill Newis, features tree-lined fairways, water hazards on 11 holes, and a diverse terrain with coulees and plateaus. Visitors have had a positive experience at Bearspaw Golf Club, praising the excellent food and service. The patio and cocktails have been particularly enjoyed, with a waiter who is skilled at crafting the perfect margaritas. The club has also received high marks for hosting a memorable gala dinner event, with guests impressed by the quality of the food, beverages, and hospitality. While the menu may not always be accurate, the club has accommodated guests with dietary restrictions, such as those with gluten-free needs. The staff have been described as friendly and service-oriented, and the venue has been recommended for both casual visits and special events, including weddings.
I was surprised that the golf course would have the best food in the northwest part of Calgary!

We had a great lunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Just a heads up, you will have a quieter lunch between 1:30 and three before the golfers finish their rounds.

We enjoyed our time and the ability to bring the family. The menu however was not accurate and we had some people with allergies who had to reorder after the food was brought - even though the allergies were brought up before ordering.
