We have had nothing but positive experiences with all the brokers at Beneficial Insurance since we switched to their firm in the spring of 2024. The whole staff is courteous, friendly and most of all very helpful regarding all of our insurance needs whether it be a simple renewal or helping us navigate our way thru changes or a claim with solid, informed advice. We trust them completely and know they look out for our best interests.

I had a bad experience with this insurance company the billing department hung up the phone on me and when I called back didn't answer so many times. The broker confused me he didn't explain my account cancellation and how I could get my refund of my money. In my experience not recommend this insurance ever.

I didn't have the best experience with this broker. I was with them for about 2 years but should have switched sooner.
The first real issue was the general sense of disorganization and disjointedness of their operation. I would often get final notices from intact for outstanding payments without any communication from my broker beforehand because of some change that had occurred or some issue. I would then start to get duplicate final notices and phone calls from Beneficial's billing desk even after payments had been made - which then because my broker and the accounting department don't really talk, required a whole new circus of communication to solve. There seems to be some lag between their billing department and your actual insurance provider. In addition, going through Beneficial gave me a policy # that made me unable to pay Intact directly. I was forced to pay through Beneficial's website, which always gave me issues - from not recording payment for several days to not going through properly and generally being quite dated and clunky. The second big issue is a discrepancy in what Beneficial offered me compared to other brokers. On my 2024 renewal, I asked what the best they could do for me was. For some reason, the best he could do between all providers for me came in nearly 700$ more expensive for the year for my truck than through most other brokers. This was after my renewals went up consistently each year; when I asked about this, I was always told something along the lines of inflation or increased costs for insurance companies - now I think I should have shopped around then instead of just trusting them this long that I was getting the best rate. More confusing than that, though, is going through Intact for my motorcycle, my current rep was unable to offer the same coverage as other brokers also with Intact (no coverage for gear and accessories and lower coverage through Beneficial) at a slightly higher rate. When I asked why he couldn't offer me what other brokers were, he didn't really have an answer. In the process of shopping around, I also noticed that different brokers treated me a bit more like a valued customer too.
Long story short, this broker did not have the most competitive rates, could not offer me the same levels of coverage as other brokers, and generally did not give me the best experience with their administration and organization practices.
