My husband and I visited this store on March 23, 2024, at approximately 1 PM, as my husband wanted to buy himself a new computer.While we were here, we were approached by a man who claimed he worked for the store and offered to “sell” my husband a $300 gift card if we gave him cash or e-transferred him money. He was quite forceful during this interaction about “selling” the gift card, which raised some red flags. When he first approached my husband, he said he would take over the transaction. This interaction was obviously suspicious, and it took aback my husband, so I stepped in and told the guy no.After he left, my husband finished his purchase with the original staff member he was talking with. While heading towards the exit, I told him we needed to speak to the manager, he agreed.We went to Customer Service and informed the female staff there. She seemed concerned about the situation and called the “team leads” over so that we could also notify them of our interaction. When talking to the staff members, we were informed that the guy was a security guard with Black Bird Security. We were also told that we were the second to inform them about the same situation that day.When my husband went back inside to give them more information about the situation and asked another associate if there was a follow-up or customer complaint form, he was told there was no such thing. A different lady, who was with GeekSquad, said there was no such form to make a complaint and that telling her was sufficient.

Poor customer services. Employee's doesnot even know how to put information manually. They need proper training or hire somebody passionate about their work. They should also change their team leads.Everyone is just wandering here and there and playing on their phones.Save your time guys ,,,,go to any other location.We have various in calgary.

Money-hungry fanatics. That's the only way I can describe the employees here. They're cheque is probably based on a sales-based commission because that's exactly how they treat customers, as a cheque.They operate by leaving as many open doors for you to give them money, but the moment you need your money back, everyone's hands are miraculously tied. With all the vague descriptions of policies and the need for signatures here and there, Best Buy has rigged the system and come up with a way to legally scam their customers. It's corrupt and unethical, a perfect example of corrupt modern day corporations. I will no longer be giving Best Buy my business.

They need new staff. The current staff are lazy and rude... I've done my Samsung fold screen protector there before. It cost me just over $60 for the inside screen protection. I went back and the lazy incompetent lady working today said they don't do those screen protectors, I even had the receipt to prove I had it down there. Then she uses the excuse that she doesn't have the machine anymore.. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE, AND NEEDS TO FIRE EVERYONE & HIRE PROPER MANAGEMENT. ITS RAN BY A BUNCH OF UNEDUCATED RUDE PEOPLE.

We were ignored by staff, even when we called over to people, they told us they’d get someone else to help us. Literally no one at the checkout tills, the lady from the returns counter had to check us out.Another note, I see this same comment over and over with the same cookie cutter response:“This is certainly not aligned with our promise of delivering a seamless shopping experience, and we are sorry to hear that we let you down. We’d be happy to look into this issue and make this right, so please reach out to us at https://bestbuy.ca/contact-us. Thank you!”Are you trying to say that going to the contact us page on the best buy website is going to do anything to fix your customer services issues? This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen a company do as a response. You might as well not respond at all. Do what’s right and fix it.

Would give 0 stars if it was an option, since that's the amount of service I got trying to buy a laptop today. Spend 30 minutes wandering around the laptop area trying to get some help to buy the laptop I wanted, but no staff are helping customers. Even pulled the alarm wire out of a display laptop, and even then still no staff came to assist, they just came reset the alarm and walked away without even asking if I needed assistance. Walked out and will make my purchase at a store where they care about their customers.

Worst experience ever! The staff are so unfriendly especially the lady with long hair at Geek Squad. She is so rude and unpleasant. I bought a desktop last month and I was so disappointed since nobody is setting up my order. She even suggested just refunding my order if I’m not happy. They wasted too much of my time and will never ever back

This store has the worst customer service! Waited in the laptop section for a good half hour plus and not 1 employee offered help. Asked 2 employees and were told just a minute only to be left waiting again. I took my money to a different store. Will never shop there again.

Worst customer service. Paid 240 for iPad warranty and during replacement, they are asking to pay difference! Ridiculous I wish I could rate them negatively. Misleading sales and customer service.
