Very bad purchasing experience!! The salesperson was very enthusiastic and the quality of the furniture on display was also very good. But Received defective furniture with extremely poor service and it could no be reordered. Like to buy or not

Great high end furniture. We purchased a bedroom set and it looks amazing, great quality. Dean was awesome to work with and answered our many questions. The delivery team was friendly and respectful. We had a minor issue with our dresser and night stands and they sent someone immediately to fix the issue. Very happy with the professionalism and first class customer service. Will definitely shop here again.

My family has always shopped from bondars and I always use to shun them for the high prices. However after moving to Calgary and checking out their furniture, I don’t think there is a better store. The service was great, Stuart stayed an extra hour after close and helped us with our purchase never pretending to be rushed or impatientDean was great as well from our intial, conversations with him.Thanks for checking in during the delivery process and after as well.

The furniture seems to be higher quality than average. For the price the sales and customer service lack response. Overall I'm happy with the product, but business practices need improvment.

We arrived tonight at 4:50pm thinking they were open until 6pm. The woman immediately approached us and told us they closed at 5pm and she needed to be out at 5 sharp. She followed us around the store rushing us and showed us out at 4:58pm.There were FIVE people working so that seemed rude, I'm sure one of them could have waiting 10 more minutes as to not rush the customer.We went across the road to Revolve Furnishings where Larissa was amazing and we dropped $8,000 in under half an hour.

Horrible management and business practice! We ordered a bedroom set, a couch, and counter stools. Two of the three items did not arrive on time, the stools had not expected time frame other than sometime in early 2023, so we cancelled this ordered. The bedroom set arrived much later than what we were told on ordering and then the bed was delivered in fabric instead of leather and the entire set was much darker than that on display in the showroom. When asked if we could take the showroom pieces instead of what was delivered, the manager would not agree to this and in fact would not agree to any resolution. We finally advised that we wanted the bedroom set returned. We were told we would have to pay a re-stocking fee. Not happy with this given our experience, we advised that we were not going to pay a re-stocking fee and would be doing a charge-back, only then did the manager agree to waive the fee. Very disappointed that this company has no customer focus when it comes to resolving issues. When the delivery people came to pick up the bedroom set, they left without helping to put the mattress back down from off the wall despite being asked. Very upset with our experience. The only two people who were great to deal with was Rachel (delivery booking) and Francine (sales associate) as they were both very professional. The manager on the other hand is another story, she wouldn’t even call us once on our issue! Very disrespectful!

We had a great experience at Bonders. We ordered our stressless furniture to Francine in December 2021 and after checking all options very carefully she spent hours with us to make sure we’re choosing the right option. Before setting the contract she let us know about the delivery expectation time of our future and she updated us couple of times during these 6 months. Finally we received them earlier than the expected delivery a bit. The remaining balance payment was very smooth as the staff were understanding and helped me after the work hours. The delivery was even better with very polite and friendly guys. They brought very professionally and on time with a notice call beforehand.I am really excited to use my furniture and it is how I wanted to be.When we order a great furniture from overseas we need to be patient and have other furniture that works at home and wait.I recommend this store to anyone who are looking for a professional service.

Terrible Service - Lovely Furniture.What a disappointment. I have never neglected at a store - particularly when I’m on a mission to purchase. Other than a quick “hello”from the receptionist, I was completely ignored throughout my 30 minutes trying to shop.- Not once was I asked if I needed assistance.- Not once was I offered a hand.- Not once was I asked if I’d like to speak with someone.The store was practically empty. In fact, 2 staff ladies (I think one perhaps a manager) walked right past me speaking to one another… while managing to completely ignore me… not even a smile or a glance.Now, what makes this disconcerting are the potential “why’s” behind this atrocious service:- Could it be because I had just come off a flight and was not my usual polished self?- Could it be because I am a young woman? A single woman? A woman of Color?- Could it be because all these things made them think I couldn’t afford their furniture and therefore didn’t deserve service?- Is it a coincidence that only other folks in the store, 2 caucasian couples aged 50+, were getting excellent service?Never before have I left a public review however, my experience here was disappointing enough that I thought it must be shared. Hopefully Bondar’s staff and management will treat the next young person of color that goes through their doors better - needless to say, it won’t be me… I’ll need to find another Stickley and Stressless distributor.
