About Bowness Community Association
The Bowness Community Association is a welcoming community facility in an accessible neighborhood. It hosts countless events and programs and is home to hockey, gym, kitchen, hall, studio, and boardroom facilities. The arena is nice and well-kept, with smooth ice and heated spectator areas. The rental spaces and halls are clean, and there are many activities. The staff are wonderful, excellent, friendly, and go beyond to ensure a great experience. The BCA offers wonderful programs to meet people and volunteer, and it provides strong community support, coming to the fore in crisis. It is a great way to connect with the community, with an informative board sharing details on food support, opportunities, arts, and sports.

Lovely old school rink. Tight dims work well for our old time team especially when playing against a flying younger squad.
Rooms are tight, but that adds to the nostalgia.
Lots of other stuff going on at their facility too.
Recent addition of #secondchancesports outlet is a bonus.

We booked their courts for pickleball and a Christmas potluck. Fees are good and the courts are in good state.
