I am so lucky to work with amazing team, a place with organizations, leadership, and exciting. Kudos to all Cervus Equipment all over the world.

I talked with a salesman at the High River, AB outlet about buying a piece of used attachment equipment and who promised that he would get back to me. After one week of waiting without any news, I reached out to the salesman that I talked with and he told me not to worry as it had my name on it and he was waiting for the "Sales Manager" to approve his quote but he was out sick. For two weeks I waited for a quote to include shipping cost to my home, only to have it sold out from under my feet and without the salesman giving me a courtesy call before I reached out again. As a 35 year military veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, I'm not impressed with their business practices, as they seem to lack ethics of following through for customers.

This group has been buying up well run and respected businesses and rapidly turning them into places that seem to have no organization. Most of the good staff members that have been been employees for years seem to disappear and they now have a revolving door of employees who do not have the proper training or knowledge of the industry. The drop in the market share of all their manufacturers product lines and their weak share prices is proof they are on the wrong track to success. My opinion the whole senior managment needs to be put under the microscope and the problems need to be addressed. I personally no longer use bobcat products after many years of loyalty and when the time comes to replace my gravel truck I wont be going back to a peterbilt.

The only good experience I've had there was with a salesman who put together a quote for a 50xx tractor and bucket with cab. Every other experience I've had there has been less than good. Parts desk is often engaged in conversation and unconcerned with customers waiting, at least until they've finished discussing lunch or some such thing. Three times now a call to the local Cervus number has assured me the part I was looking for was available only to drive 100km round trip to find it’s not in stock and never has been. ? Dropped a tire on Wednesday to have a tube installed and a hole patched. Called on Saturday to see if it was done, no one could tell me. Went Tuesday, after the long weekend, to pick it up only to find it sitting in a corner unfixed. Took it myself to Harper Tire and had it done in about 20 minutes. Did receive a call on Thursday of that week from Cervus parts desk telling me my tube had arrived. Bought a replacement blade edge, was told by parts desk to drive around to loading dock and someone would be there to find it and load it. Overhead door open, part just inside door with other special order parts but no one near to check my ticket or load the blade. Finally someone appeared, saw me, looked away and began working on something else. Looked like a manager to me, no grease on his clothes.
Long story short, go someplace else if you can. Don’t waste as much time as I have. Hey, I know it’s a 1980’s JD but Cervus Calgary/Airdrie did nothing to earn my trust or business now or in the future.
