I am amazed by this guys. The quality of work, combined with the prices and timeliness of this place will always amaze me.
They are really great about working around your schedule for drop off/pickup and have very honest pricing that is rare to find these days.
If you are someone who is hesitant to go to a mechanic because you don't know a lot about cars/your car and are worried about getting ripped off, you will be able to have peace of mind if you come here. I will be forever grateful I found them.

This is place is not friendly at all, forget about costumer service which is very bad. My vehicle was having some noise they checked it twice and said it's been fixed but it is came back in a week both time. Last time I went there the person said it's been fixed I told him the whole story he said bring it back if it's happened again. What a waste of money and Time, they can just do the oil change do not waste your money and time on mechanical issues.?

I have used Dalhousie Auto Service a couple of times over the past 6 months. They definitely know what they are doing! I appreciate the updates on the repair progress. I stopped coming to this shop for a year because they would either always try to upsell me on things I didn’t need (like asking if I want my alternator done when I book a tire changeover), or outright lie that I need upgrades/repairs (they have tried twice to tell me my brake pads were worn out during tire change appointments, even though I had recent measurements from the dealership that showed they were perfectly fine). This month I decided to give them another chance and booked a tire change. When I picked my car up they told me they had to change one of the wheel lug nuts because it was worn out, charging me an extra $110 for parts and labour. They did not call me in advance for me to authorize the work, and given their history I question whether it actually needed to be done. I will not be returning.

Not good customer service. Initial estimate for battery replacement was 375 when I went there to pick them bill was 475 and guy was very rude. His reply does not make sense. Part cost was 5$ and repair charge was 100$ and top of that he never mentioned extra charges. Then this guy with pony tale is super rude not willing to talk normal way. If customers are so botheration then should be doing something different.

A friend recommended a garage to me. I went there for an airbag light on problem. As often mentioned in other reviews, I came across a gentleman at the reception who was very unprofessional and unfriendly. I had even written a paper to explain the problem with the error code etc. to make the mechanics' work easier and he replied that he "didn't need it". Verdict: clockspring to change. He offered me $800 for an aftermarket part, telling me that I would never find anything cheaper anywhere else. I went to Nissan and they offered me $500 for the official Nissan part. I think the mechanics and the owner are good but there are dishonest people somewhere. Disappointed.

I was referred to this shop by a relative who always uses this shop. I needed an out-of-province safety inspection on a vehicle I inherited.The inspection and work were completed in a timely manor, pricing was fair, and the owner Ray was super friendly & accommodating.I discovered that if ‘Ray’, is there and available, he will drop clients off at home who don’t have a ride when their vehicle is in the shop for the day.As it happened they had a little service vehicle not being used that day that he let me use :)Thank you for the great service Ray and crew!!

They got my truck in right away and they diagnosed and fixed the problem within two hours and gave me a courtesy car. Also I would have had to wait 20 days for any other mechanic to look at my truck. Amazing. Thanks again
