What an incredibly frustrating and bad experience. Made an appointment for a men's cut and a kid's cut for my 6 year old son for 3 pm. We arrived at 2:55 pm and we had to wait almost an hour before the owner/male hairdresser attended to us even though we had arranged appointment with him ahead of time. And a total of almost 1.5 hours before we were done and out the door. There was only one other client in another chair the whole time we were there.
There was little explanation given and only a weak apology for waiting an hour before he even started our haircuts.
At the end of 1.5 hours and only 20 minutes of actual haircutting time between both my son and me. He just sped through our cuts with little care.
The male hairdresser/owner who attended to us offered another apology during payment and charged me the full $90 for our haircuts (men's cut + boys cut).
Absolutely tonedeaf to the situation and cared very little about the massive time inconvenience to us by stringing us along and not keeping the commitment of our 3 pm appointment. Only to have us wait for an hour before speeding through our haircuts. We did not get any additional services such as coloring, styling or anything beyond my wash before a cut and my son only got a cut, no wash.
I definitely would not recommend this place for a haircut. We have come here since before the pandemic and we will not be back.
This entire experience has left a sour impression on us as a family due to the lack of communication, lack of respect for customer's time, and accountability for owning their mistakes. This experience made me feel like its only about the bottom line for them despite all my vocal raising of concerns and issues during my appointment. Possibly the worst customer service experience I've encountered in a long time.

I simply cannot find a good hair salon in Chinatown….. I work nearby at Harry Hays building. The staffs here couldn’t speak fluent English so perhaps miscommunication

The hair stylists are amazing humans! They ask you exactly how you want your hair and then you can sit back, enjoy the incredible head massage and let the magic happens. I had a good laugh with them. It's good for the soul and the style! Thank you!

I was nervous when I went in having had a bad hair cut in the past. But Paulo was patient, kind and took his time to listen to what I wanted for my haircut and cut at the length that I wanted. I'm super happy with my haircut!

Best haircut I have had in a decade. Hairstylist really understood how to cut my hair type and shared insights that I have never heard of like which way to blow dry my hair for the best outcome. The hair wash and scalp massage was also outstanding. Highly recommend visiting, but make sure you call to book an appointment or check availability before going.

I may not have the most beautiful face as you can see, I would need my hair to make it up at least in that case.For the past 15 years, Cabello Hair Studio have been helping me to stay presentable and beautiful, in a very professional manner whilst keeping their friendliness. And they become not only my friends, but more like my family!!!I don't know where I can go when they retire one day....
