Karen and the crew were AMAZING! Had a new windshield fitted with absolutely no fuss. Couldn't believe how quickly it was accomplished, and was definitely worth making the appointment.

Updated review. The owner reached out to me and I was reimbursed the amount I paid to get my camera recalibrated at the dealership.

Don't book your car in just before the installers go for lunch. I found a couple of tools on the passenger seat and floor. I also found a black rubber glove by the driver's seat when I arrived home.
My lane departure warning light came on, it says their was a malfunction.
I called and they weren't sure if a tech was there to recalibrate it.
No one bothered to call me back, so I ended up having to take my car to the dealership for them to recalibrate the camera.
That cost me an extra $100. Plus tax.
Im hoping that someone from Cal Alta will reach out to me and offer some sort of compensation.
They seem to be a busy glass shop, so I'm hoping they will do the right thing.
I'll update my review if someone contacts me.

I stumbled upon the flyer for CalAlta and immediately called for a quote. Reception was super responsive and fast. Later that week a massive rock hit my partners windshield.
Needless to say, we both got our windshields replaced, it didn’t break the bank at all and their service was friendly and timely (a rarity in today’s world).
During my time in the waiting room I witnessed the employees. A true team. A mama coordinator/receptionist keeping all the ducks in order for the ship to run smooth. Serious about her work, and delivers with a big heart.
One of the mechanics/workers held the door open for me to come in, I was touched.

Went in today to get my door glass replaced as someone had broken in to my car over the weekend. Seamless & quick experience from quote to pickup and was extremely pleased (and surprised) to see they had even vacuumed out the excess broken glass that I couldn't get at home. Above and beyond service! Would recommend to anyone looking for auto glass.

Well the fact that they were a little cheaper than others is what made me choose them... You get what you pay for. This was my first ever windshield replacement, I figured a windshield was a windshield... I didn't realize that there were different levels of quality.... This one right from replacement sounded thin...it was noisier than before and then came the gravel chips, which most windshields would hold up for a while but not this one, cracks right across even when not in cold weather from small chips and the cracks leak water inside which I have never had on any previously cracked windshield in my life!...lesson learned, do your research and spend a little more for better quality elsewhere. The service was quick and decent but I don't plan on returning.

Thank you Cal Alta for replacing our windshield so quickly..i want to send a special thank you to Karen ( the receptionist). There was a small glitch ( the wrong windshield was sent ) and she handled it calmly & professionally, offered us a few solutions and we picked the one that worked for us. Even tho we had to leave the car there ( the windshield had already been taken out) she helped us get home safely. Great experience!!

Wow! New windshield under 1.5 hours. The staff were so positive! Thank you for collecting donations to both the veterans food bank and the regular food bank. And prices, absolutely affordable. The entire experience made me feel taken care of and respected. It gets better, the fine print, at no extra cost a 2 year warranty on labor, and 1 year rock chip repairs.
