Had a lovely experience with Mandy in the membership office my 91-year-old mother has been a member of coop for over 40 years and had tried numerous times to get some clarification on her membership dues. Mandy was able to go above & Beyond with a current statement being mailed out so I could answer my mom's questions thank you so much Mandy that really helped us

I received Co-op gift cards on Wednesday when I had ABSOLUTELY no food in the house. St Vincent De Paul delivered the cards to my home along with a few carbohydrate staples. Thank goodness for their Society.
I put in a food order online at Co-op that day hungrily anticipating the food I could put in my stomach - only to find out THEY DON'T ACCEPT THEIR OWN GIFT CARDS ONLINE!
I am not mobile, I depend on delivery or rides. I am obviously low income, you want me to take a cab????
I was not able to get any extra fresh food (i.e. milk, eggs, etc.) for SIX DAYS because I could not get a ride until then. How do you make Kraft dinner without milk?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH A COMPANY THAT ONLY ACCEPTS THEIR OWN GIFT CARDS IN STORE!!!?
GET WITH THE TIMES CO-OP!
Next time I have a choice of gift cards it will definitely not be yours!!!

Regarding transition to APP:
Your APP will lose its luster once your patrons find out that you are manipulating where they spend their "Bonus Cash" forcing them to only be able to spend it at Coop. It is a big difference to those families whom looked forward to spending it how they wanted. Especially the elder generation who may not be as tech savvy to download the app on their phone or couldn't be bothered to. So there goes a good chunk of money you would have had to normally pay out to your most loyal of customers. Good for you I guess?!
To COOP Corporate:
You should have never given out cheques in the first place if you were so concerned about disrupting business longevity.
Now to twist around how your patrons get to spend this money you used to give back in a form of a cheque... you may end up losing patrons and shortening your business life rather than extending it. You are not the same Coop I once new.
FYI Coop Patrons - SAVE ON REWARD POINTS -
can be redeemed for Travel and many other things unrelated to
Save on products or "business longevity."
When I asked if Coop points can or could be used for that as well in the future...they basically expected me to want to put that money back into the various COOP product / outlets instead of being able to spend it how and where I wanted to.
SAVE ON allows you to redeem for Universal Studio passes for example. What was supposed to cost my family and I $800 cost us $0 thanks to redeeming our Save on reward points for our family trip.

So disappointed in customer service, I tried using this app twice, and was overcharged significantly per transaction. The invoice was correct; however, the visa transaction was 10%+ higher than the invoice. I tried contacting the e-commerce support, and they don’t respond. Buyer beware of the co-op online app, check your electronic bank versus the invoice.

Why is DEF $32 at the Co-op and $20 at Autovalve? Better date at Autovalue also. Shame on Co-op for gouging their members. Not in line with co-operative principles. Shame!

I have been a member with Co-op since i've been 16, 17 i'm 68 now, but since they've changed their reward incentive of not releasing a cheque for cash every year now i have no interest in dealing with just another grocery store anymore. I spent $ 2500 to $3300 a year just on fuel and 100's in the store alone. I know things aren't like they were otherwise they wouldn't have closed my Co-op store in Beddington and then have to go all the way to Brentwood just to figure out how to buy groceries with the points i would've accumulated. The prices for food aren't much better either, look what Loblaws did to it self .. that's what makes places to shut their doors because of how Co-op calls poor performance. That's to bad i really liked dealing only with Co-op.

Can't buy single bags anymore, not even paper ones.. also the new app is a huge scam. To reward with money that can only be spent there, on product they are profiting on... significantly cuts into the value.

Check your recipes sometimes they don't go through on the app. Still waiting for their IT department to resolve my issues with the coop home health stores. Receipts do not appear on the app.

Yesterday I phoned about our annual cheque that we get in February. The girl on the phone said "we no longer do that anymore". I usually get 150 dollars a year. I drive for a living and I usually get gas once a week and propane and cigarettes. Usually I go to the station at McIver and 52nd street. They are usually higher priced than any other station. Yesterday I got gas at Costco and it was priced at 132 a litre compared to 148 plus I receive 3 cents back for every liter once a year and that is a lot of savings. I am totally done with coop.

I phoned membership with a question and they referred me to talk to Consumer Engagement. I have since called them 3 times and have yet to get a call back. Today Dec 8 I called membership, at least someone answered the phone and transferred me Consumer Engagement again (my fourth attempt) and no one answer and have to leave a message. Dec 12 update: I called the 4th time on Dec 4, still no response.
