Great vehicle service with very reasonable (actually cheap) quote for new tire purchase and installation.

I recently visited this location for an off-rim tire change and left with several concerns about their service practices. Here’s what I encountered:
1. No Multipoint Inspection - Although the invoice clearly stated a multipoint inspection, no such check was performed. This felt misleading and disappointing, as I’d expected a full review of my vehicle’s condition.
2. Lack of Communication - After the work was completed, no one notified me that my car was ready, despite me waiting in their designated area. It would have been helpful if someone had just let me know the service was finished.
3. Dash Cam Unplugged - This was by far the most unsettling part. I noticed that my dash cam was disconnected right after the mechanic got into my car. I can't think of a legitimate reason for this, and it made me question what was happening with my car during service. Later in the day, I had an incident where I could have used dash cam footage, but since it was unplugged, I was left without any record.
All in all, this experience felt unprofessional and even a bit sketchy. I would be cautious about returning here and encourage others to verify what work is being done if they decide to use this location.

Auto service appointments don't mean anything -- It took MANY HOURS than I expected for my tire swap. No refreshments or comforts offered. There are no valid avenues to complain about how disorganized and understaffed the place is -- they will ask that you call the 1-800# customer service line to ensure that you leave the store and don't cause a visible fuss. GOOD FRIENDS SHOULD NOT LET THEIR FRIENDS USE CANADIAN TIRE FOR AUTO SERVICE

The parts & service department is so rude and disrespectful, I’m requesting from the Canadian tire management team please Train your staff properly and teach them how to behave with customers thank you.

I'm very disappointed with the service at this location. I recently purchased a new car battery, and the employee assured me I didn’t need to keep the receipt, as it was on file for returning the old battery. However, when I brought the old battery back, they informed me that I did, in fact, need the physical receipt. This feels misleading, and I’m unsure who stands to benefit, but it's discouraging to feel taken advantage of in this way.

Terrible customer service and extremely terrible return policy. Save the hassle and go to Home-depot or Rona.

Attempted call the store several times. Rang for infinity the first time. Second time the customer service staff hung up me. Third time I was put on hold for an hour. Customer service even more poor in store. Told to pickup in different aisles by different staff members ended up leaving without buying. Tried to buy something in locked case on another occasion. Ha. Zero help for a very long time. Staff are very unapologetic.

I left car for pre purchase inspection on August 28th at this store at Dalton street.
During check in I told the receptionist the car is with Ignition interlock device and they need to call Smart Start Canada (provided number) to get free unlock code. The receptionist look irritated by my request and acknowledged they will do it. Neither him or/and mechanic did not bother to call and obtain free override (unlock code). Receptionist called mechanic and I was asked to bring car in front of garage entrance. I did it and when handed car keys to Mechanic for test drive I told him to 'Please contact Smart Start to obtain unlock code (override) as device will prompt him to blow into device and it could happen very soon ie after a few min' ... but he replied "there is no need I will do drive test fast." This negligence of not obtaining ignition code caused the 'violation ticket' and I paid fine to Smart Start. I went back on June 1st, 24 and talk to supervisor to get reimbursement they refused (regardless of fact -- at time of when violation occurred was while my car was at their property).
- I also complained in written to the store G.M leaving envelope two times once on Sep 10th 2024 and second time at Sep 27th. 2024 at Customer Service for store G.M. I have not got even acknowledged of mail nor was contacted by no one from store jet.
Needless to say I am very upset and will never use their services again!

It’s the last time I’ll visit a Canadian tires. I have been waiting for swapping my summer tires to winter tires for over 3.5 hours. The job can be done in 45 mins to 1 hours. Apparently there is a backup for the services. I understand things can take longer but 2.5 to 3.5 hours waiting seems excessive and unreasonable.
While I’m still waiting for the services to be done, I have decided it’s the last time I’ll go to Canadian Tires for any services. When I read the reviews, others have the same experience. I’ll go to a mechanic
