Bought a 2022 used vehicle here over 6 months ago and it had a failed park sensor that was promised by the salesman to get replaced at my local dealer at there cost! Took it in to my local dealer got a quote and sent it to him. Called and emailed them every couple days and always promised to get a call back from someone eles, still no reply!! Worst place I have ever bought from! No follow up or service after they got your money! Don’t take any of there word seriously!!! Would rate them lower then 1 star if I could!

My car was written off at the beginning of the year due to a pretty bad accident.The thought of buying a new car was a difficult one because I didn’t want to go through that process.The team at Capital Chev listened and understood my needs and answered my questions. They allowed me to test drive the vehicle twice to confirm my choice and weighed the pros and cons with me.I’ve never been so comfortable buying a car in my life and they were able to relieve my stress and met me at my own pace.This is the best experience ever and I will be recommending my friends, co-workers, and family to this dealership from now on.Big thanks to Clair. I've been brining my Chevy to Capital for service and repairs for over a year now. Brought my car in for an initial service and diagnostic late last year only for my engine to misfire less than 6 months later which was attributed to faulty spark plugs and a leaky engine oil cooler which put me back slightly over $1K. 8 months later, the engine is misfiring again with nearly identical symptoms compared to the first time and they were prepared to charge me almost $1K again. As a matter of principle, I decided to take my car to an independent mechanic who were more understanding and empathetic.There is a clear lack of ownership, accountability or remorse from the service team. In fact, they had no issue charging me almost $200 just to diagnose the second misfire which was approximately 30 mins of work.Other than the incompetence and poor quality work, the folks that work here are generally pleasant. Strongly recommend finding an alternative if you plan on brining your car/truck in for serious mechanical repairs. Also be prepared to pay above market for labour costs and other miscellaneous expenses that magically appear on their invoices after the initial quote over the phone.Update 2/25/2024: Emailed Caitlyn, as per the response to this review, but still haven't heard back.

I was just in with my car and Fiona is just the best! She really made me feel like I could trust her and she gave me realistic great advice. I couldn’t have all the work done so she helped me work within my budget and let me know what couldn’t wait and what could wait a few months. I’ll be back to see her smiling face in February. The absolute best customer service I’ve had when dealing with car stuff which I don’t have a clue about. Thank you so much Fiona!!

We recently took our vehicle to Capital for repairs. Fiona Rae was our service advisor and the experience was excellent. She kept us informed of the progress of the trouble shooting for our problem with our vehicle, the issue when found and the cost of repair. She was excellent in communicating with us throughout our entire experience. We were extremely pleased with Fiona as she has a very high level of customer service and satisfaction. Thank you Fiona!

Fiona helped me in the service department, and it was by far the best customer service I've experienced at any dealership. She was incredibly knowledgeable about my Ford Escape and went out of her way to help me. She was familiar with the common issues associated with my vehicle's symptoms and was able to help me figure out next steps to fix the issues. This was the first time I didn't feel manipulated in a car dealership. I really appreciated all her help and will definitely be requesting her specifically for all future car maintenance/work.

Fiona first became my service advisor more than a decade ago and many vehicles ago. As she’s moved, I’ve moved my families business with her…why you ask? Well it’s simple, she goes the extra mile for every customer and treats us like she would her own family. She’s an excellent advocate, a staunch defender and dedicated advisor who has always put my families interests ahead of profits. I’ve never once felt she was trying to sell me a service that wasn’t needed or defended a mistake. She juggled up to 6 of my family members vehicles at one point but whether I’m bringing 6 vehicle in or just 1 she’s always treated me and my family as VIP’s. I very much look forward to reuniting with Fiona at Capital Chevy again and enjoying the 5 star service, I’ve become so used too!

Overall the experience was fine, a bit frustrating as is common when dealing with vehicle diagnostic and repair. My service rep was initially quite helpful in the morning, and the frustration came after service work was completed. I paid for an "inspection" which, to my surprise, didnt catch a rear wiper blade completely missing its rubber, I later discovered that my headlight was out when i picked up the vehicle as well.The next day I discovered that my washer fluid was low, even though it was marked on the inspection as full. Each time i have brought these issues up, the service rep has been defensive and unwilling to help other than to offer to replace the headlamp if i purchase my own bulb "somewhere" and bring it in. When i dropped the vehicle off (for winter tire changeover and oil change) I was told an alignment might be needed. I asked her to let me know if it was. The work was completed without anyone asking me, and neither was an alignment report given with my paperwork to show that the work was needed or even performed.My service rep, when i picked up my vehicle, asked me to leave a 5-star review because "anything less than 5 stars is a fail" I personally hate this pressure tactic, as it attempts to guilt the customer into helping out the service rep even if service was not exemplary. On the positive side, the work was completed promptly and communication about timing was accurate. I'm still unsure if all of the work I paid for was actually performed, and thus far i have not been able to obtain proof when asked. Hopefully the next visit will sway me back to a positive review of this shop.

We just purchased a great used Avalanche from Capital Chev. Our salesman Malek is the best car sales professional ever. He answered all of our questions and got us a great deal on our trade-in. Khloe in finance also did an outstanding job in getting all our new registration and insurance changes accomplished. Everyone we dealt with at Capital was friendly. professional and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Capital Chev. 10 Star Rating!

Worst customer service. I was there to see a car and book a appointment in the morning. Went there on time and the guy whom I suppose to see was with other customer and kept me waited for half hour. After half hour, come to us and told us that he cannot sell the car as there are some safety issues, but on their add, it is fine no mechanical or tecnical issue, they just find out after I went there. The guy just want to sell the Chevy to me and other pricy models. I will not recommend any one to go there.

Brought in my car for an oil change and inspection before a road trip. The report came back that the brake pads were all down to 4mm, low but definitely able to hold up over the trip.8 days later, in the middle of our trip, we started hearing a very loud squealing sound. I took it in to have it looked at, turns out one brake pad wasn’t at 4mm but 0 and completely destroyed the rotor. I got the brakes and rotors replaced in the States. I told the mechanic there about getting them checked 8 days earlier and driven X miles, he was very suspicious that this pad could wear down so much in that time period.When we came back I double checked our inspection and all pads were checked and the claimed they were at 4mm. I called the service department to chat with them about this issue. I was told that the mechanics don’t make mistakes and there was nothing to be done.I asked to speak to an advisor attached to the work. I was told they weren’t in that day but they would leave my information and would get back to me when they were in next, 2 days later.It’s now been 6 weeks and I haven’t heard a peep from anyone.Please avoid. There are many GM Certified places in Calgary. The sales department people are great but I will never get service done here again.
