This shop is the best repair shop I have ever seen.!!!
The service attitude is very good。 From the manager down to the staff, everyone is very professional and excellent。 My car is a new car this year, but after the huge hail in August, my body and car windshield are covered with hail pits. And then after your tireless efforts to get me car parts, car glass, for me to restore my new car.。Your work is very serious, and the after-sales service is particularly professional and thoughtful! I am very happy and very lucky to have found your professional, service and excellent Calgary auto repair shop!!!!

Been to carstar 5+ times for body work and have had nothing but problems
4x for body work on the driver's side. The first time it was repaired the paint job was atrocious with orange peel and specs in clear coat
They warrantied the Job & When I got the car back the color match was very poor
By time I got around to dealing with it again someone had hit that same door and my insurance sent me to carstar
They fixed and repainted. I was finally happy with the color matching. They took off the Interior door panel to fix some things that came loose and gouged my window tint everywhere with edge of their metal tools
When I picked up the car my tail lights went out immediately. I replaced the fuse and it kept popping. I chased the electrical short for a long time and discovered when they put my side marker back in the clip broke and they drove a metal screw to hold it in place. The screw went all the way into the side marker lamp socket and was shorting the entire electrical system.
after having the repair done the door handles started to bubble. I emailed them the photographs and brought the car in for repair
At this point the car had so many layers of paint that they needed to strip the entire side of the car to bare metal to fix the bubbling issue and ensure uniform paint job (this was a warranty claim June 27-july28 2022)
They performed the work and I was finally happy with the finished product after so much headache and countless hours dealing with it
2 years later the underside of the fender has paint literally flaking off and deteriorating due to lack of clear coat (car has 0 rust elsewhere, it was stripped to bare metal not just 2yrs ago) When I arrived the “owner” (Sheldon) was unavailable for my 2:00 p.m. appointment.
I waited 1.5hrs until “Sheldon” came out. Because the location changed ownership and they deleted all the previous paperwork (so they could deny claims like mine for warranty) They had to submit this to carstar corporate for review. Since this deterioration was due to the previous repair where they stripped the entire side and repainted and not the original work order they will not honor the warranty because the original work order did not call for painting the entire side and they deleted all of the history of having the vehicle in for the final warranty repair (even though I sent them the email communications were I photographed the bubbling and they asked to have me bring it in for repair). They're also claiming rust was already there
This is a classic trick new owners do to deny any responsibility for their shops craftsmanship
“Sheldon” called me and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I told him I sent in proof that the door handles were bubbling and the car was brought in to have the entire side repainted and he kept repeating the phrase “I don't have that” at least 10x over. I explained to him that he does In fact have it because I sent it in my first email and that if he wanted to see it he simply needed only to pull it up (he then proceeded to keep saying “I don't have that”
on Oct 29th at 2pm I waited until 330pm for him to exit his office and finally deal with me (no apology for the wait of course because he has no clue how to run a business and is a terrible owner, (The only person that seems to know how to do their job is the front desk person named Sydney, which I'm sure isn't getting paid enough for dealing with all their nonsense)
You can tell by the demeanor of every employee that they are incredibly unhappy working at this location for him.
What an incredibly lousy and dishonest business. The only reason they get customers is because they have deals with insurance companies so they don't have to fight for business. This means that you end up with an owner like “S

The process of getting my vehicle repaired was efficient and seamless. The workmanship and attention to detail exceeded my expectation and was completed in a timely manner. The lifetime warranty removes the anxiety going forward. I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle to CarStar Royal Oak for any type or severity of body damage repair.

CARSTAR provided excellent professional service at a very reasonable cost, on a timely basis, and did a fabulous job of repairing our car. Having a fender bender is never a pleasant experience but the staff, and in particular the owner/manager, went out of their way to put our minds at rest and make it as pleasant an experience as possible. We give the highest rating possible and would highly recommend them to anyone.

So glad I went here to get an issue with my rear bumper fixed. The previous place I went to quoted me a tab of about 2000 dollars and got my issue fixed here for under 400 bucks. The service was quick and friendly too! Will definitely recommend this place to others. Thanks guys.

Nothing but positives to say about this company and the people who work there. They listen, are attentive, and responsive. Had an excellent experience working with Sheldon regarding damage to the bumper of my truck. I would highly recommend this company for auto body work.

Great service provided by friendly and professional team! I had to pay out of my pocket, but got crazy expensive quotes from other autobody shops… the team here is so honest with reasonable quote. Also repair so efficient, I got my car earlier and even cheaper than estimate price! Will definitely recommend come here to fix your car 👍🏻
