I’ve tried repeatedly to find shoes at this store - cute and comfortable but the service is so excruciatingly bad, that no matter how hard I try, their elitism and judgement makes me shake my head and leave the store - happy to spend my money elsewhere.

The staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional. Save your money and go shoe shopping somewhere where they deserve your business! Avoid this place like the plague.

I'm writing this review from my car... your staff was so incredibly rude to me just now that I am pretty sure that's the last time I'll ever try shopping here. Please try to remember that judging people by their appearances will never serve you well...

Just left Check Mate shoes in Willow Park, was treated rudely by the clerk. I went in with a sample shoe from their outside table, I did have a coffee in my hand and was looking for somewhere to place the coffee that it wouldn't interfere with business or get knocked over. I was told this isn't a coffee shop and you are responsible.
I left took my coffee to the car, and went back and tried the shoe, on "outside". This same rude woman, called from the door, unpleasantly "do you want the match to try on" I ignored her and she bellowed again. I went into the store and said I would if I got a discount for her rude behaviour.
I bit off my nose to spite my face, and left without the shoes but I would never by anything from a horrible woman or support a store that hires miserable people.
I can find other places where people are kind and accommodating to spend money, not mean and accusatory

Shopped here on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Staff were attentive and patient with me as I was looking for winter boots, and I am pretty picky about my boots, and I needed something that would fit my feet well for lots of walking in the winter time. I will be back.

Staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. just a note that you have 5 days for a store credit or trade but you can never have a refund. she would not have told me that if I didn't ask.

The service at this store was horrific. Myself, my mother and my grandmother all came in prepared and able to purchase shoes and they were abrupt, dismissive, rude and unhelpful. Their selection was good - will be using the brand I found to purchase online at a lesser price.

I have shopped at this store for many years but today I came in and the sales lady was very rude telling me to go to Sass because I gave wide shoes and then said oh we have Clark shoes they may fit do you have size 10 feet no I don’t I have size 8 she was very rude and disrespectful I will NEVER shop at that store again

they have bad policy ,they give you only five days to try the shoes and the worth part no refund on your purchase only store credit on full price purshase ,and sales ladies not friendly they care about sales not the customer,very expensive ,i am stuck with a two hundred dollar shoes because of there stupid policy ,bad experience.unfriendly atmosphere ,

Absolutely appalling service there!! I went into the store at 4:52, according to my iPhone clock, the store hours on the door advertises open til 5:00pm. I was immediately accosted by the manager, with her hand up in my face saying I am sorry we are closed and then turned out the lights! I questioned the time and she said that her till said it was 5:00pm (she was across the room from the till). I then realized that there was another customer in the store who was trying on shoes, (now in the dark!) and I explained that I knew what shoes I wanted and that they were on the display table directly in front of me, and I just needed the correct size. She stomped off to the back, and the poor other customer looked at me embarrassed and upset as she had just entered the store right before me, and was obviously uncomfortable as well. The “manager” came out from the back room and rudely asked me what size I needed, and I decided there was no way I was going to spend ANY money in that store again!! I wanted to support a local store rather than order online, but I will not tolerate being treated like that!! Absolutely unprofessional and down right ignorant!!! You missed out on a $300 sale and any future sales from myself and any friends and family that I can warn about this woman and her store!

Great selection excellent service.The gentleman that helped us was so patient.We ended up buying 9 pairs of shoes but tried on almost everything in the store.Great selection . A little peeved they stopped carrying Flucho’s but o stall a great experience.

Horrible customer service. Didnt even greet us when walking in but yet greeded anyone else that walked in. Tacky shoes for the price of an arm. Would not recommend ever going.
