Amazing staff, smooth pick-up and very helpful!
My friend and I were recommended to use Cloverdale Paint for a mural we were planning. We ordered 8 colors and went to pick them up the following day. This entire process was easy and the staff gave lots of helpful tips for the entire painting process. They even helped us bring all the paint to our car despite being busy inside.
The quality of the paint is great and looked better than we could have imagined. We will definitely be using Cloverdale Paint for all future projects!

Horrible customer service. I needed just a little bit of paint. After telling that to the guy at the front desk and confirming they had the colour in stock, they immediately started mixing the paint in the largest can. I tried to stop/ask for a smaller can, but the guy said, verbatim, “it’s too late now, bro” and charged me for it.

We were told our color match paint would be ready for pick-up in a few hours and that the store would call us when it was done. After four hours, with only 45 minutes left before closing, we still hadn’t received a call. When we phoned to follow up, the manager told us it would not be ready that day and that they “might” have it ready the next day but couldn’t guarantee it. This was very frustrating as we only had one day to complete our painting project.
The following day, we were informed that the store has an official policy not to provide time frames for color match paint. Apparently, this policy had been reiterated in a staff meeting just days earlier, yet the staff member who helped us still gave us a time estimate. I recommended that they post a clear sign about this policy so customers can make informed decisions before committing.
For this particular project, I wasn’t concerned about getting a perfect match—I just needed paint quickly. In hindsight, I should have gone to Home Depot, where they complete color matches within minutes. The lack of communication and inconsistent information at this store made this simple project unnecessarily stressful.

People who works here are extremely helpful and friendly!! And they seemed to be quite happy working there ? I would always try to come to this location if I can. Waaaaaaay better than the NE location!

I recently went to visit family in Calgary and opted to help them with some renovations. We decided to go to Cloverdale paint on 110ave NW. We are soooo incredibly happy that we did!!! LAURIE - you are the greatest clerk (we all concur) we’ve ever had the honour of dealing with. Your knowledge, your hilarious banter, your patience and the most infectious laugh, you had us all roaring!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to have made a, presumed stressful, part of our vacation, an absolute joy!! We truly hope anyone that shops there has the opportunity to meet this amazing woman. We’re telling everyone we know about her. 10+ shiny gold stars for you. BRAVO!!

I had a very bad experience at the store recently. A few years ago I purchased at the store an acrylic paint which was was a colour match to a lacquer also from Cloverdale. A few weeks ago I needed to do some painting with the same acrylic paint. I went to the store with the old paint which had the formula written on the can. They mixed a new paint assuring me that it was the same paint. After some painting I realized that it was a different paint - the old paint is on the top and the new on the bottom of the picture.As I think about it, the employee did not do any test to compare the old and new paint, but I thought that if you use the same formula you end up with the same result. Later I checked the formula on the invoice and the formula is different.I did not think that if you go to a paint store with a paint previously purchased at the same store, you have to insist on double-checking everything. A new lesson in life and quit a bit of repainting in near future for me.Sorry, but the store, and most likely Cloverdale paint, is off list of paint stores and products that I can recommend.

I have been cloverdale many times now, everyone here very professional. Especially Sara she is more than amazing. Always go the extra step to help not only me but I notice to all other clients. I have been and will be coming back to only this cloverdale location!
