The store itself is large and carries a variety of brands. You won't receive service until you check out or ask. I was in there looking at blow dryers for awhile, no one asked if I had a question or needed help, and the only person I could have asked was at the cash register and they weren't approachable.
The parking lot is small for the area I find. When I was trying to leave there was a driver who had no idea what they were doing to get out of the lot, so they held up traffic both directions with people waiting to come in and leave.

I've had great service from both staff that were working this evening on separate visits. They both went above and beyond and knew exactly where all the product was and gave great suggestions

Exceptional service from the manager, Derek! It’s clear he genuinely cares about his customers and is committed to giving them the best experience possible. He patiently answered all my questions, no matter how small, and was enthusiastic about helping and educating his customers. Because of him, I’ll always return to this store. Big thanks as well to Robin and Aloura for their outstanding service—we truly appreciate all of you

There are 2 locations of Cosmo Prof, in Calgary, Alberta. Recently, I needed to exchange an item, and, I had the receipt. We travelled to the SE location. (The SE store is large in size, compared to the NE location). However, the staff were not helpful in the SE store; the Manager refused to exchange the item. So, we drove to the NE location. What a difference in customer service! The manager approved the exchange, and Karin was so helpful and lovely while dealing with my exchange. I spent more money, over and above, the exchange value. So, five stars to Cosmoprof in North East Calgary (Zero Stars to the SE location!).

The person working there was amazing! He answered all my questions, they were out of stock again on purology though... but he did recommend some amika products on sale and it worked great!

We’ve been coming here for years and just today were met with the worst customer service and disrespect ever! We walked in and were ignored, not greeted or asked if we needed help. When I went to smell a shampoo I was approached by him “you break any seals in here and you’re buying it” with multiple people around. I was so embarrassed.. then heard him arguing about something with another customer not even 5 minutes later… not somebody representing this company very well and very different from the usual helpful customer service.

Once again, worst run location. Stood at the till for quite some time. Finally left without the colors. A person could walk out with all sorts of products unnoticed. Thankfully, I'm honest.

There was 2 staff closed up for the day, it was Saturday. the one small build has dirty blonde hair is very big mouth attitude unprofessional, she is not fit in the industry, no wonder her people‘skills so rude, Cosmo Prof will lose more business for sure, get rid of that person before more negative reviews.

Low stock all the time, the staff isn't usually not very helpful or too nosey. I'm a stylist, have been for years, I don't need help with my colour formulations. Especially because most of the staff are not licensed.Be careful at the front door when there's ice, because they never clear it and it accumulates.It will also be randomly closed on some days for no reason, I'm assuming no staff. But there's no warning. If you're traveling from out of town, call first to confirm they are open.
