I have been to Craft Cellar over the years numerous times to get specialty items for gift, celebrations and events. Most recently I was there to get a specialty bottle of Jack Daniel’s for a clients birthday. Nicole was there when I walked in and immediately offered her expertise and assistance. She was welcoming, informative and beyond helpful. This is similar to every other experience I’ve had at Craft Cellars. The staff is never pushy and always well educated and makes what could be an overwhelming experience, seamless.

Their free whisky tasting events are so fun and awesome with a plethora of whisky to try. Their selection of everything from liquor to wine is vast and international too! Service is amazing.

I recently ordered 12 bottles from Craft Cellars for the first time and 2 bottles were broken and removed before I received the package. Unfortunately Canada Post repackaged that package due to the broken glass so I cannot tell how it was originally packed. The other 4 boxes for the bottles were soaked. The 2 bottles cost $217 and I was refunded $124. I have ordered many times from BSW and never had a problem. BSW charge less shipping for a 15 bottle order than Craft Cellars does for a 12 bottle order. They should think about using a more reliable and less expensive courier. I cannot see myself ordering from Craft Cellars again.

Solid selection, sometimes great deals, unique tasting opportunities, many helpful staff, but a couple staff ruined my experience. Completely unhelpful and appeared bothered by my request for assistance. Responded with, "Do you think I've tasted them all?" when I asked about opinions on a unique gin for a gift. One in particular changes my rating to 3. He'd be zero, most are 4 or 5.

Online specials are usually quite competitive. And I quite enjoy going into the store to pickup my orders given the nice whiskey selection, and better yet, the super friendly and helpful staff.
Would never think to leave a review for a liquor store, so that says something. Keep it up Craft Cellar!!

Was excited to get an email about their spring sale until I logged in and noticed they inflated their list prices so that when you apply the 15% discount the price is regular price or higher still then at other stores in Calgary that I frequent for single malt scotches. Very shady and a great way to turn away good customers who spend money on quality scotches and know the prices. $185.00 for a bottle of Lagavulin 16 is very overpriced when I just paid $136 for the same bottle.

Great wine collection, carry some rare ones as well that aren't available elsewhere. Had a wonderful experience with David and will definitely go back.

Good prices. If you sign up for their email, you can get a chance to buy some of their allocated bottles that can only be bought through their online store.

I recently ordered 4 VERY hard to find bottles of Jefferson Amaro. Price was materially lower than local Toronto importer even with the shipping cost added in. Package arrived ahead of time in absolutely bullet proof packaging. I am sure you would have to drop the package off an 8-10 story building to break the contents. Five stars well deserved in every aspect!

What a wonderful shop! I came in looking for Scotch and I wasn't disappointed. The selection is overwhelming in all of the right ways.Be sure to spend time with Shane. I really enjoyed listening to his picks, suggestions, and learning about his travels.A must stop if you're into Scotch.
