The receptionist Sarah needs to work on her listening skills. We very clearly requested a quote and appointment for a rear window replacement and even confirmed again the day before our appointment. I dropped my car off and ubered to work. After about 20 minutes received a call asking if it was the front or rear windshield that needed replacing. They had marked down front windshield (which did not need replacing). Unfortunately for me their technician had enough deduction skills to ask and confirm which windshield or I would’ve gotten a new front windshield on crystal glass’s dollar. Furthermore I was quoted over $900 for the rear window installation. All the other places I shopped for after the fact gave me quotes between $400-500 (500 being a brand new window) with installation. What would cause this difference in cost it’s seeming a bit suspicious?
I’ve given a third over the 1 star I was initially going give them because they were decent enough to vacuum out the broken glass and place a plastic cover over it for the confusion. This is a good redemption in customer service. While I realize this is an honest mistake it’s a mistake no less and huge waste of my time

Reception was very good.
The technician was very thoughtful, removing the parking sticker from the old windshield and attaching it to the new windshield. The stickers are very sensitive and once removed they are compromised and no longer function. Nevertheless it was very thoughtful of the technician to do that. The work was completed well within the time frame suggested.

Do not take your car here if you want your windshield chip to be repaired, they will break your glass on purpose so you can buy a brand new windshield. That’s what happened to me. This big guy on purpose was pushing with all his might to break the windshield and guess what he broke the windshield And I had to buy another windshield from them , so it’s by design , I was told by other customers that this happened to them, but I did not believe them until I saw with my own eyes, so be prepared that your little chip that supposed to cost $30 will turn into a $350 fee.

What a refreshingly easy process! I messaged for a quote and received one back from Sarah almost immediately. My windshield was in stock so they booked me in at the earliest date I could drop it off. The drop off and pickup was also simple, quick and friendly. I hope I don’t need to go back anytime soon, but I’d choose this shop again.

Jessica & team were life savers. We were driving from Revelstoke to Toronto. Our rear side window was shattered when driving past a semi truck in Rogers Pass last night. When we called Crystal Glass first thing in the morning, they were able to source the window for our 2009 Tacoma and get us in for an emergency appointment right away. Had us back on the road within 2 hours. Seems like a quality product and solid job so far! Clean shop and great customer service right in Downtown Calgary. Highly Recommend. Thank you!
