Needed some basking lights for my turtle. Googled the dual pack and Dexters sold them for 10% less than Pisces Pets and almost 30% less than Petsmart. I do shop at Petsmart because it’s only about 5 km from my house, and they do price match, but they are often out of stock. When I checked Dexter’s website, I found they offer free delivery to Calgary and Chestermere…even the same day! I will be using Dexters from now on, no question!

They have a great selection of food and supplies for small animals at excellent prices! I’m so happy I found this place. Their local delivery service is incredibly convenient, and the owner is really nice.

Once our dog died, we now have a kitten. We’ve since moved and it’s now a ninth story housecat and mouses mechanical mice. It does do formula 1 from the bedroom window thru the patio window and round and round he goes. His record that I’ve seen 21. He may have done more when we’re not home. He’s only able to do this because of dexters. They are so great in supplying his nutritional needs. I especially like this store because it’s not a box store chain and the personal contact you create with the owner and their personnel. I’ll always come here unless Johnny cash uses up all 9 lives from the 9th store

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The service personnel were a great help when trying to decide on kibble for my fur friend. They also sell Canadian products which is wonderful! Support local!

Buy our dog food here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Don't go there to buy Milkbone supplies though.

I love supporting locally owned pet stores. They are very knowledgeable and prices are very competitive.
They also support a lot of pet charities and rescues.

Dexters is the best. I am SO grateful for local delivery and a super easy to use website. All their furry friend products are fantastic. Their reptile products could use an update, but otherwise everything is awesome.
