This is actually −5 stars for the Filipino girl who was the rudest cashier I've ever seen. She dropped my groceries, rushed me through the till as fast as she could and before I had things bagged, she yelled out for the next customer. Absolutely no manners nor courtesy and quite savage.
It was disgusting.

Defintely the rudest in Calgary, dare to go in 10 minutes to close and they won't help you find anything... they'll tell tell you they're closing soon 5-6 times and you have to leave. Kind of wild, say thank you and they ignore you. Rough part of town, better to shop elsewhere.

I recently visited this location seeking assistance, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The staff manager was unprofessional and seemed uninterested in helping customers. When I asked for help, I was simply told to “go and look around the aisles” without any real guidance. This led to a frustrating and time wasting experience.
I hope upper management or whoever is in charge takes this feedback seriously and addresses the lack of customer service at this branch. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and supported properly when they need help.

Honestly very rude employees they're always so rude to you and always rolling their eyes and you ask them for help finding something they literally don't even help you they just run away from you Also the curly hair guy here that's blonde is so rude honestly he was yelling at the employee the whole time humiliating her in front of customers.

Three stars because the store is clean and generally well organized. I go to this store monthly to buy a few household supplies.The last few months I have had issues with store security.
On one occassion a security guard interrogated me on why I had stopped inside the main doors. I was PUTTING MY OWN WALLET AWAY after purchase before I left the store. He stood beside me and watched as I walked out. I even had the bag with the items that I had bought as proof.
On another occassion I stopped inside the main door to zip my coat up because it was raining when I left the store (I walk home). I was asked "what are you doing?" Isn't it obvious? On both occassions I was only inside the door area less than a minute. Clearly that is loitering - even though I had just shopped there and I was intending to leave.
Yesterday I was browsing and stopped in the beauty aisle. I was looking at the hand mirrors but all were turned backwards with the mirror portion facing inwards. I wanted to see one so I was going to turn it around and I could hear security being paged for "Beauty Aisle". As I was the only person in the Beauty Aisle that meant me. What? Is it a crime to turn a mirror around? Do I look like a thief of a $2 mirror?
I have never stolen in a my life. Hypothetically speaking, If I ever stole it would not be from a dump like Dollarama.

The experience is terrible, this company does not accept product returns or exchanges, it is a disgrace, I bought a cell phone cable for 5 dollars and I was wrong, when trying to change the rude and bad-faced Filipina manager said no, it is better to buy in temu less half of it and you can return it if it doesn't work for you, this dollaramma is a crappy company, but worse is dollaramma macleod's Filipino manager.

Ridiculous service. I just went at the store at 8:53pm and the store is closing at 9pm as it says on the website, but the employee refused to get me in as she said the store is closed and I just wanted to buy one thing but very bad experience at the store! Did not expected from dollarama.

Not very impressive for customer service Yes, it states that there are no returns or exchanges, but not everyone is aware of this, particularly when they purchase items that they don’t intend to keep rather than exchange because they are unusable. You should take this scenario into account, especially the lady is a little unpleasant and the lightbulb is still in place just bought yesterday.
