I went in this place…. I’m not too familiar with downtown and had to pay for parking. I was unaware that the machines accept debit so I hurried in here to ask if I could buy something and potentially get a few dollars in change back.
The man working proceeded to tell me it’s not their responsibility and failed to answer a simple question.

I had a disappointing experience at this Dollarama location. I had visited a few days earlier someone has taken dog inside the store (not a service animal), and there were no issues. However, during my most recent visit, I was told dogs by the security guy who is standing near the door that weren’t allowed—despite nothing having changed. I understand stores have policies, but the inconsistent enforcement and rude behavior from staff were frustrating. Clear communication and respectful treatment would go a long way.

The most anxiety inducing experience I've had so far at any Canadian retail store.
The guard just kept harassing me and when I asked him to stop, he proceeded to raise his voice at me and not leave me alone.
If you need to close, close, but do not try to bully the customers out 5 minutes before closing, when they still have time. That is just rude.
