East Hills Shopping Centre

Shopping Centers & Malls
Hours: East Hills Shopping Centre on 17th Ave SE in Calgary is a relatively new and modern destination for shopping and dining. It offers a decent and impressive variety of stores for a shopping center of its size, including big-box retailers like Costco, Walmart, Dollarama, Michaels, and Homesense. There is a nice mix of fashion, home goods, and services, with a range of dining options from quick bites to sit-down meals. The area is well-maintained, clean, and laid out well with ample parking and green space. However, a large part of it is still under construction and it feels like it’s still developing. The area is missing other grocery stores and is not currently a one-stop shop. The primary downside is significant traffic congestion on 17th Ave, which is described as a nightmare, and a poor parking lot design. This congestion is expected to get worse. Once future road construction is complete, access might improve. Despite the traffic, it is considered a great mall with great stores worth visiting.
