We moved across the country and went to EQ3 in Calgary as I've always liked their stuff and always had a good experience in Toronto. We purchased a couch, coffee table, end table, carpet and some accessories. We had let them know that we are furnishing our entire house & have guests visiting in late October so we need our stuff before then as we have no living room furniture. We were shown the in-stock fabrics to meet the timeline.
2 days after paying our order, we were emailed that they wouldn't meet our deadline and the in-stock fabric we selected was actually on back order and would now be delivered in November. We were told we could reselect a different fabric, but we have other items coming from other brands that were selected to match the fabrics of our couch. None of the other in-stock fabrics worked with what we had already selected.
I responded to their email explaining our situation and if anything could be done. I didn't hear back from EQ3 for a little over a week when they finally emailed me back letting me know my order has been delayed further and won't be delivered until February.
Classic over promise, under deliver situation. Would not recommend.

We worked with a designer and decided to get the Oles pleather barstools which were quite expensive. We were told these would be the best option as we have young children. The very first meal the chairs were covered in stains that wouldn’t come off as you can see in the pictures!! Dealing with customer success has been frustrating. They made us pay more money to do an exchange for chairs of lesser value and forced us to forfeit the original chairs
I would not recommend.

Went there to check out Herman Miller chairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and let me hang out for an hour to get a feel for them. Checked out their furniture after and they have lots of cool stuff, all Canadian sourced too. Their mantra is about sustainability and long term furniture, their products reflect that.

Great finished products and exceptional customer service by Lina Barakeh. Most of Furnitures are from EQ3 and last long.

Yesterday we received our new Joan couch and ottoman. It looks great and the leather cover is very good quality; really soft. We find the couch very comfortable to sit on and the ottoman is a versatile piece which can be used as extra seating or even a coffee table if a tray is placed on top. The staff at EQ 3 was excellent, keeping us updated and holding the furniture at the warehouse when it arrived as we were away on vacation.

Can't say I've ever given a 3 star review, but that's exactly how we feel about our Joan Sofa. It's...fine. The okay-est sofa in all of the land. It's nice to look at but not super comfortable for more than an hour or so. If you're into 30 minute shows it's great, not so good if you're doing a Godfather marathon.
Not bad for the Netflix, not great for the chill.

If your furniture arrives damaged don't expect much from EQ3.
When I received the furniture it was scratched before delivery and it is not covered in anyway.
I tried talking to customer service and was essentially told too bad.

EQ3 has good quality stuff and Lina is excellent to deal with. She is patient, knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend her.

The quality of the products are great and priced adequately. We purchased multiple couches. I was a bit disappointed with the customer service. I had to follow-up multiple times to work through details of my order and then once the order was placed to find out when to expect it. Felt a bit like pulling teeth with the store representative that was dealing with my purchase.

EXTREMELY POOR WARRANTY ON SOFAS!!!~ Spent almost $8000 on a sofa and love seat. Fabric started to fray and show wear after just a couple of years. Call Customer Service and found out the warranty on the fabric was just one year.This is completely unacceptable and way below industry standard. The other sofa we bought a had ten year warranty against wear.My bad that I didn't check this out. Their bad for such a poor warranty.

Great finished product and exceptional customer service by Lina. We’ve made two orders, the first of which ended up taking around 11 months to show up. Although it took a long time to show up, Lina did everything right, keeping us updated throughout and offering us alternatives. I also really appreciate the advice she gave us regarding styling the pieces. She is great at listening to your needs and providing you with options.

Had a terrible time trying to get service for Herman Miller office chairs we bought. I wish I would have bought directly through Herman Miller or any other company. Wendy was not helpful at all.
