The single worst vehicle repair experience of my life! Wrong diagnosis twice,$1160 later and left with spongy brakes after having my truck 2 full days! The employees struggle speaking English making any communication frustrating. After everything I still have to find an experienced mechanic to repair the spongy brakes after the incompetence of this terrible excuse of an automotive shop.11/9/2023/Update- after paying $1161 and leaving with no brakes,a new master cylinder and new brake calipers I didn’t need I took my truck to a brake shop where within 5 minutes of inspection they noticed the previous mechanic at Foothills Auto Service had installed the brake calipers reversed and on complete opposite sides of my truck. Unbelievable incompetence! All the brake specialist did was reverse the calipers and put the left caliper on the left side and corresponding right caliper on the right side,a quick 5 minute pressure bleed and I was out the door in 30 mins.I’ve filed a claim with AMVIC and reached out unsuccessfully for reimbursement from Foothills Auto Centre. AMVIC will be doing a fully investigation and i’m pursuing this matter in small claims court.Terrible, terrible experience at this shop! If you’re looking for a shop that gives mechanics a bad name this is it.Services: Auto brake repair
