This experience is about buying Meta Gift Cards here. The one I bought, the code came off with the security sticker. It's been over 3 weeks and Meta support is completely useless. Steam gifts aren't an issue because they'll respond with a code and say they're sorry, if there is an issue.

I had a frustrating experience at this location on December 28, 2024. When I went to pay, the first employee was merchandising and told me to go to another register. I waited for about 20 minutes as the second employee was processing a return, only to see the first employee ringing up other customers. When I voiced my frustration, another staff member approached. After explaining the situation, she insisted I wait in a newly formed line of approximately 10 customers, despite my 20-minute wait. I again tried to explain the situation to her, having another customer to confirm what I was saying as true. However, she dismissed my concerns, implying I was lying about being told to wait at the second register, speaking in a condescending and dismissive tone. Feeling disrespected, I left my items behind and will not be returning to GameStop.

GameStop has always been my least favorite place to buy anything from - service has always been condescending and terrible.Called this store re: inventory. Instead of checking for me, right off the bat it's we only have enough for pre-order, nothing more, Didn't even want to check. Nothing but pure attitude at this place, terrible service period.

Horrible customer service. Every time I've gone into this store, I've had to wait at least 10 min to get any help. Today, I ended up walking out as the person on duty hadn't even acknowledged me for 15 min. Never again.

This is my go-to place to find games because the staff is amazing and they are always down to help you out with a recommendation or just chat while you look around. This store has a nice used game stock if you need something a bit cheaper.Please if you have the time and means to get to a store to buy your games do so, this is one of many places in calgary that I hope we can keep alive despite the digital push as it's just amazing to have a spot you can go to where people share a hobby.

I called the store asking if they have a Pokémon promo card and I was told yes. I asked how much I needed to spend to get this promo card and was told because it is Pokémon Day, I will be given one free of charge for just visiting the store. I made my way to the store and looked around for stuff I am looking for, nothing on the shelf. I asked the staff there is they have any and was told they were sold out. I then asked for the promo card and was told I have to spend X amount to get it. I mentioned I had called in not long ago asking about the card and was told I would be given one for just visiting the store. I was told no and I would have to spend X amount to get it. This is the second time I have been given false information from this store when calling before going there. If this is the companies way or the employees way of making people go to the store and wasting people time, do better. Definitely will not be going back to this store of scums.

What an absolute joke! Just tried to return my controller to this GameStop under warranty that I purchased for $9.99+GST and now I've been told I can "only exchange for a controller of the same color." What is up with this nonsense. Hey does it matter what the color is, I'm not doing a trade, it broken, I bought insurance, so you need to return it.Been buying warranties for over 15 years from these clowns, now all of a sudden it's "an enforced policy", what a crock of nonsense.

I like this location because it's a quieter store for a GameStop. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I recommend getting a membership so you can get a regular discount if you shop for games and accessories often!
