Absolute worst experience at any retail store. I’ve been to this location twice now and both times were awful. I was there a couple days ago and there was only one other customer in the store. I was not greeted (despite there being like 4 workers). I had 10 items in my hands and no one offering to start me a room. When I went to the change rooms there was no one in there. I stood there for a second waiting for two workers conversation to end then had to go up to them. Finally one got me a room with attitude. I believe her name was Chelsea or something along those lines. She was also the one who checked me out and again the most awful attitude. Worst shopping experience.

Usually the staff are pretty friendly and respect whether you want or help or not. I was recently at this location and the person checking me out at the till was extremely rude. She kept asking for my email (not sure why, I have the app, and when I asked why, she just said she needed it?) and got frustrated at me when she spelt it wrong 3 times. Proceeded to check me out with rude glances and without saying a word to me.

Went here the other day and was in the fitting room trying on jean shorts. The shorts were tight on my hips and thighs so I asked the associate if going up a size would provide more room. She was trying to help me until her co worker (blonde female) interrupted her and said “no” and when I stated my issues she responded “that’s what happens when you get curvy.” Not sure if she meant it in a rude way but definitely not an acceptable comment. I could tell the original female helping me was uncomfortable.

Garage's return policy is horrible. I've tried to do two returns. The first return only offered a 30 day window. Most businesses offer at least 60 days grace. The second return was when I ordered online. Instead of paying to ship the items back, I drove them 30 minutes to the nearest store (the day after I received the items). The return process was terrible. The sales associate could not provide me with a credit to my card and would not issue a receipt for the items I'd returned. After a few weeks, I checked my credit card statement and Garage had not issued a refund. Finally, I checked my junk mail and Garage issued me a gift card. I did not ask for a gift card. I asked for a refund to the original method of payment that was literally the day after I received the items. After emailing the company, they didn't answer my questions, closed my inquiry, and asked me for a review of their service. 0/10. Will never shop there again. I shopped at Aritzia at the same time and although their clothing can be more expensive, their customer service is top notch and when I returned a pair of jeans that I'd ordered online, they refunded my original method of payment on the spot. Do not shop at Garage.

Was at the chinook location today and had poor customer service. Put an item on hold, came back not even an hour later and the item had miraculously vanished… Not sure how this could have happened, and the manager on shift seemingly had no solutions for me. Super disappointed as this was the last item in my size. Left empty handed. Shoutout to the girl behind the counter though, she was sweet.

never shopping at this location again. was waiting in like to try on a couple things and the girl working fits was screaming directly at me to move the line up when there were two people infront of me. when i finally got a room she didn’t even look at me while speaking then proceeded to slam the door in my face. heard her helping out other customers in the fitting rooms but walking right past me everytime. not sure what i could’ve done to spark this behaviour towards me other than literally exist, but even if had done anything that is no way to treat people let alone customers. didn’t even buy what i went in for because i was so turned off. if you walk in and aren’t a size 0 and conventionally pretty you will leave feeling horrible.

While in the store some of the girls were a bit standoffish when I first entered the store. One girl finally acknowledge me. The store manager Christine runs a tight ship when I visit from time to time and is very friendly.

This place needs to learn what customer service is. I was there with my 1 year old daughter ( in a stroller ) waiting for my two other daughters next to fitting room when I was approached by the girl working there asking me to take my stroller and wait outside …. Yes she asked me to leave my other kids and just move out . I said I am standing on the side here not bothering anyone and I am helping my 2 girls. No you need to take the stroller out that was her answer . I am like there is a baby in here and we are here as a family .I did go outside and waited until my daughters were out of the fitting room then to be approached by another person working there telling me that I need to move again .To the owner of that store teach your staff something about customer service / family .I do regret that i end it up buying 300$ worth of jeans ( because I promised my daughters )but for sure I will never ever step into that place . It’s shame that families are treated that way. Bunch of kids running the store . Even kids will have better manners than that.

I went in store today to make a quick return. I was the only one in line. The cashier (lets call her A) made eye contact with me and then proceeded to leave the check out counter without a word. I then made eye contact with another available associate (lets call her B- whom I later discovered was the manager) and they also ignored my presence. I then witnessed A and B get into a small dispute with another associate for supposedly “helping a friend”. At this point there are more staff then customers in the store- so I don’t really see why this would have been a problem..especially if the “friend” is a paying customer.Associate A (who left me in the first place) then came back to help me (without an apology.. I don’t usually complain about this sort of stuff but I felt as if they had no respect or regard for me whatsoever). The purchase I was returning was from mid November, which I had confirmed prior that it was eligible under their Holiday Return Policy. She called manager B over to confirm the return. I didn’t catch her name but she had mid-length brown hair and wore glasses. This manager was extremely rude and I felt as if she was talking down on me the entire time. A asked B if it was eligible under their holiday return policy and B quickly snarked back “No, that was for December”. She began to tell me that I couldn’t make the return, but I showed them the return policy from the Garage Website. They had me read it to them. They couldn’t have read it themselves? They then stared at my phone with blank expression and then manager B let out a high pitched “HUH” followed with a “Sorry, I’m just processing”. It was a completely rude and unnecessary response to THEIR OWN RETURN POLICY- if you are a manager shouldn’t you know the return policy? Manager B then gave associate A the green light to process my return. B turned to me and said “sorry little missy”, she sounded more annoyed then apologetic.I was in the store for a total of less than 10 mins and all I wanted to do was make a quick return. Within the short span I was there I had a terrible experience and feel as if they need a huge change in staff and/or training. I work in retail so I could definitely sense that this was NOT a misunderstanding and the manager there definitely should NOT be in the position she has. This environment can’t be healthy for the associates either. On a side note, their website showed a particular item I wanted to have 11 in stock of my size alone..I had an associate check the back and they told me they had ZERO. I am sure they had lied to me but I wasn’t willing to start a dispute over a t-shirt.

Who hired the staff? Seriously, the managers there are horrible with ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE customer service, it's disgusting knowing she's even the manager, and the staff she just now recruited are just even more disgusting, they like to talk to one another rather than helping the customers, some of the new recruits even have a bad reputation outside of work and it surely reflects there personality at work aswell. When I tell you DONT GO HERE don't, disappointed with everything that has to do with this store especially as I used to be a loyal customer there. All in all, to describe this environment I'd say disappointing, disgusting, rude and atrocious.

so basically I went to garage and picked up this 2 piece set , and I went to the cashier bought it and went home. I tried the item on and it was big and I didn’t want the xs so I decided to try to return it. I looked through the bag and there was no receipt. So I go back today and try to return it and at first the cashier said she could but she calledover this girl with pink hair ( I think it’s the manager) and I basically explained what had happened and she said there is nothing that we can do??? BUT HER OWN CASHIER DIDNT GIVE ME A RECIEPT. the lady in the pink hair tried to say she did? No she didn’t. And she proceeded to say maybe it fell out the bag or you lost it ? Be for real????????♀️ The lady in the pink trying to gaslight me into thinking it’s my fault for the reason I have no receipt like nice try I’m not stupid. so next time give a receipt to every customer and figure out and retrain your cashier so they know to give individuals receipts.Another thing I forgot to mention is I was trying to reason with them like I asked to show my bank statement and the manager kept refusing like it’s literally not my fault the cashier didn’t give me a receipt. TerribleCompany, terrible store, terrible management and terrible staff. The store gets at 0/10. It seems like the manager only cares about her terrible hair colour then helping out customers and it’s a shame these teens work at this terrible place, you teens can find some where else worthy of your skills.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My daughter has been a loyal customer of this location for many years and today was the most horrendous experience thus far. Christine (with pink hair) who is probably the manager there has the most atrocious customer service I have ever seen in my life. Today my daughter went in trying to do an exchange for a shirt she hadn't even worn yet- just tried it on at home with the outfit she had planned (maybe worn for 10-15 minutes max) and when she inspected the shirt closer she saw there was a lot of pulling and rips in the seams. Instead of being understanding and doing the exchange Christine decided to embarrass her in front of other customers and body shame her. Christine proceeded to belittle her and tell her "she stretched the clothes out with her bust" and that is why there was pulls in the seams. Even though my daughter tried explaining that she had only worn it for 10-15 minutes before wanting to wear it out. Especially having literal plus sized co workers beside her she needs to watch her horrible language and how she speaks to customers. She doesn't even try to reason with customers or try to get them to come back. This was such an embarrassing experience and Christine has no idea which individuals suffer from body dysmorphia, or eating disorders, so a very dangerous road for her to be going down in front of the whole store. We will never be returning there again, and I am shocked she has been employed for so long, considering all the other negative reviews.

I was this Tuesday at 730pm Aug 31, 2021 to buy an item but I wanted to try it on first because it would cost a over 70 bucks. They won't let us try on clothing at 730pm because they are closing at 8pm. I think that's very unfair. The manager (light purple hair) has no customer service skills, seemed very rushed to get out of there. Me and another lady were talking in line commenting on her customer service skills was very poor. Customers should be allowed to try on clothing up till at least 755pm. It would've just taken me 2 minutes to see. Instead I left the store empty handed when they could've made over 75 bucks on me. But I guess my money doesn't matter to them.
