This is an amazing wine store that carries very unique selection you won’t find anywhere in Calgary. I called and searched many liquor stores to find a BC wine that I fell in love with on our wine tour trip, and only this store carries it. And even though it’s not a popular wine to put on shelf (probably because people don’t know it), when I came back to buy more, they didn’t have it, Nate was extremely accommodating. He ordered a case in for me to buy some bottles. He remembers and knows his clients and their preference even though I’ve only been there twice.

I never tbought I'd ever review of a liquor store but truly this place is wonderful! Most of it's charm comes from Nate, he is so kind and fun! I have tried so many different and wonderful wines on his recommendations and they never disappoint. Great selections, high end and mid range, and a great location downtown.

The location is super convenient if you work in the core. The selection of wines and spirits is top notch. And the service from Nate is splendid, if the bottle isn’t in stock, he has always been able to track one down. Always an enjoyable experience shopping here, cheers !

I'm not sure what this says about us or our jobs, but the highlight of our week is Thirsty Thursdays and our little visit to Nate for a taste of some delicious offerings! Nate's enthusiasm is infectious, the way he describes each wine is not only spot on but would make a Thesaurus envious!! He is truly a delight! Thank you for welcoming our little group each week (that we are able) we really appreciate you so very much!

One of the best wine shops in Calgary, I have not seen such an amazing collection of bourbon anywhere else. Nate is a very knowledgeable guy, his recommendations never disappoint me. If you are looking for your choice of the spirit come and ask for Nate. 5 stars from me.

This is my favorite of all Highlanders. Nate, the manager, offers hands down the BEST customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. And I am a fussy customer, so I won't say this lightly. He goes out of his way to make you feel special and cared for. It is a bit inconvenience that they close at 5, because that means I have to leave work early, but Nate makes it worth it.Sincere thanks to him and his team or whoever is supporting him.
