Hello, it took me a couple weeks to post this as I did not want to post this in an angry mood but here it is. I was very disappointed with the unprofessional service provided here and would not recommend anyone purchasing products from this store. Essentially I bought 4 chairs on a Thursday evening. The sales clerk was initially pleasant and witnessed my mother and I debate getting the chairs, noting that we had not moved into our new space and that we did not know how the space would look with the chairs. We initially held off buying it but I decided to purchase the chairs noting how busy I am with work, thinking we could potentially cancel it, also noting it would take up to 8 weeks for it to arrive in Calgary. I moved to pay for the item then.
The sales clerk David then spent 15 min processing our order. Never once did he inform us that sales were final after 3 days, and that we should be sure we wanted the furniture. I moved my mother into her condo 4 days later, and we noted that the chairs would not fit with the size of the space. I called the store 5 days after to see if we can cancel the order and was told it was not possible as we had only 3 days to cancel the order before its final.
The next day we spoke with David and he stated that this is standard practice / industry standard and that "we should have read the fine print on the receipt". I explained that any good sales rep would have informed us of this and that he didnt. He tried to subvert the situation by repeatedly telling me that they do not pressure any clients to purchase products that they dont want. I acknowledged that but stated that this was NOT really a response to my concerns that he didnt inform us of the three day limit, especially when the product takes 8 weeks to arrive. He stated again that it was industry standard, implying that I somehow should have known this (I'm not in the industry and work in health care where we need to inform someone of everything before we proceed with a procedure). Most places tell you if your sale is final or if there's no exchanges. I think it is reasonable to assume that if you cancel something within 5 business days from an 8 week order that it would be fine, but if it wasnt, its the sale's clerk's responsibility to inform you, especially when you're spending thousands of dollars.
At this point, all I wanted was at least an apology and I requested the apology for not telling us about the 3 day rule, to which he replied "I'm sorry you were not satisfied".
This was highly unprofessional and discomforting. I would ask others think twice about purchasing here.

The prices are on the very high end side but the pieces here aren’t amazing. Maybe for people with large wallets and no taste. But there’s nothing classy here.

If I could give this store zero stars I would. Do not buy anything from this store as the quality is substandard, there is no manufacturer warranty and the staff and owner do not stand behind their products.We ordered a $17,000 couch that looked like it was 10 years old after 2 weeks of use. We were forced to pay a restocking fee to return it and we had to put up with insulting comments from the sales representative. I wish I could post photos to show just how cheap this couch looked.Furthermore, the sales staff do not know how to read blueprints in order to determine if their furniture is of adequate sizing for your space.STAY AWAY from this place as there are so many other great furniture stores in the city.

The team at Home Evolution were fantastic at helping our vision come to life. They advised on pieces that would compliment our space and after deciding on a floor model ensured they did some touch ups and a cleaning before delivery. The delivery team were kind, efficient and knowledgable about set up. Very pleased! 10/10 would reccomend

Helene was great! She helped us pick a wonderful dining table and chairs based on the sizing and colours of our home. She looked at pictures we had of our dining room and even helped us find wonderful furniture for an additional seating area. She was very honest and has an eye for picking out colours that go well together. She went above and beyond to help us out - and even stayed after closing to make sure we didn't feel as overwhelmed as we did when we first walked in. Helene is an amazing and her help is greatly appreciated. Will be visiting Helene for more furniture once we move into the new home.

Bev at Home Evolution is the fabulous and the BEST!!!! She offers fantastic customer service, she really cares, she’s fun and her advice is amazing!!! If you are going to Home Evolution ask for Bev, she’s second to none and you will absolutely love her!!! In addition, they have beautiful pieces for every home!!!

They have great stuff. Really nice furniture but I can’t purchase from them. For the second time in 6 months I’ve walked into that store ready to purchase something and walked out because of the tone that was used with me by the same sales rep both times. I didn’t feel as though I was being respected, felt rushed and that the individual was being short with me. This last instance I was in the store for less than 5 minutes ready to make the purchase but walked out because I couldn’t handle it.

He was attentive to what I was looking for and he made some great suggestions on colour match. Could not have been happier with his professional manner and taste.
