We are currently building our second Hopewell home, and the process has been great. Elaine & Janet have been friendly, professional, informative, and I believe they genuinely have had our best interests at heart throughout the experience. They have been upfront and honest throughout the process. Elaine’s attention to detail has been very impressive. Every meeting she is prepared and recalls all of the details of our plans. Looking forward to our new home!

Waving at me, smiling with that egotistical grin and waving fingers at me once I passed was disgustingly unprofessional and I suggested therapy to get your power from more constructive ways!

We recently built a house with Hopewell and they were great during the process, but once they have your money and hand over the keys, good luck trying to get a hold of them! Customer service is abysmal. During our final walk-through, they pointed out that the carpet was defective but that it would be replaced before we took possession. The evening before we took possession (and AFTER we had sent the funds), they emailed and said the carpet hadn't arrived so they will need to replace it after we moved in. (How convenient for them that they refused to send this message BEFORE we sent the funds.) This timeline was also unacceptable because I was pregnant and due any minute and the last thing we needed were people coming in and ripping out our carpets with a newborn in the house. We told them how unhappy we were with this oversight and they offered to get the carpets replaced down the road when we were more comfortable and settled in with our new baby, and would cover accommodations at a hotel once we were ready. When the time came, the flooring company contacted both myself and Hopewell to arrange our carpet replacement and to confirm Hopewell's promise to put us in a hotel. It took over a week for Hopewell to respond.
Finally, our carpet was replaced by their vendor, NuWay Flooring, who said it would take about 2-3 days to complete. They finished in 6 hours, which may seem like a positive thing, but once we returned home we found that the installers didn't vacuum when they were done the job, not did they return the furniture they had moved.
We've been living in this house for over 2 months and the entire time has been nothing short of stressful, especially with a newborn baby.
It seems like Hopewell stopped caring about us after they handed over the keys, at which point they threw their hands up and treated our situation like it wasn't their problem.
We will not be building with Hopewell in the future and would not recommend them to anyone.

Still a long way to go until our house is built but so far our experience have been very positive. From Kevin and Kayla of Sales to Dianne of Design and now Diana in Customer Experience , everyone has been very professional and knows their product really well. We know we are in good hands and we are looking forward to opening the door of our new home very soon!

Home builder refused to address the settling from a poorly backfilled excavation. They recommend that the homeowner wait for a year prior to completing landscaping work then use that as the window in which it would of been acceptable to ask for assistance. There was no settling when the rundle rock was put down and after the winter this specific section settled roughly 1 foot.
Edit: To add to the reply from the home builder, I did wait the year to complete the landscaping. After that I was told over the email conversation that they would drop off soil. This is to mention that in their first email they told me to go shovel the soil from the roadside myself. I also agree a little settling would not be an issue but a foot of settling is not a little amount.

We decided to build with Hopewell, value was great for the price!
Staff is helpful! Keep ontop of your deadlines and you’ll be fine. Communication can be challenging with tons of thing to consider but the sales staff was great in answering any questions. Wish there was some more material options for the interior selection, and bundling options like some other builders but not the end of the world.
Great value for the price and solid communities!

We had a great experience at the Mahogany location with the help of Carly and Breann! They were very responsive and patient during the entire process and were able to get some special requests approved. After moving in we were looked after by Rob at both the 6 month and 12 month inspection. He was very helpful, patient and informative. Happy with the overall experience from start to finish.

Building our first home with Hopewell was a painless exercise and an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
Last year my wife and I were looking at different showhomes and we really loved the floorplan offered by Hopewell.
We got in touch with their Sales Team comprised of Kevin and Kayla and things from there just went smoothly. They set clear expectations with us from the beginning of this process, so we appreciate them for being transparent and more so lovely to deal with.
After officially deciding to built with Hopewell, the communication was effective and constant. Thanks to Penny James for providing timely updates with pictures, and advising us of what to expect next.
The building Team comprised of Sean, Ryan and Derek was very good not only at explaining all things construction to us during our visits and orientation walk through, but as well giving us tips and advises to make sure our home lasts for a very long time.
They were also acknowledging of any touch ups needed to be done and they communicated clearly of work to be finished/replaced in the future.
We just moved in to our new home and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. We can’t wait to see the Hotchkiss community grow!
I would recommend building a house with Hopewell!

On March 10th your driver is n truck number two is driving erratically on Deerfoot and cutting traffic off. I trust Hopewell will deal with this driver, barely inconsiderably as he is certainly not shape on the road.

Our experience with virtuo and Olha was amazing. She is super knowledgeable and helped us throughout our move. I would have spent hours doing research to find out all the burocracias we needed. I highly recommend their services!

We are still in the process of building our home, but my family and I are confident to say that we're very happy with the professionalism and outstanding work the Hopewell team has provided us so far, especially Kevin and Kayla at Hotchkiss! From meeting with Kevin initially, to finalizing our contract, and to completing our design appointments and everything in between, they made everything so easy for us. Literally like a walk in the park! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new home.

Built with Hopewell and now my present business rents with them, both experiences have been absolutely awful!
Our Home - Foundation cracked and leaked right at the 5 year mark, we were promised at the time of us building with them our foundation is covered for 10 years… Not so much they completely ran from the problem and left us with the massive bill.
Our Business - Raised our rent $650 per month 3wk into taking possession without justification and then told us expect 6% annual increases. We missed that in the fine print!
Please do your homework before you build or rent with this very shotty outfit! I’m on facebook if you want to reach out to me for more info.
