I really appreciated the transparency, and excellent communications. Prices for the work were fair, and competitive. The work was completed on time, and the cost matched the quote. Overall, very happy with the level of service received.

Take your business elsewhere. They try to charge extra without people noticing. Two visits ago they replaced a flat tire and charged me for two. When I realized this after the fact they refunded me cash from some weird box behind a panel tucked in the corner under the front counter. Last visit they quoted me that they were going to put some sealant on the head gasket and do an oil change. When I went to pick up the car they had charged me $150 to run a diagnostic on the error messages on the dash which have been there for years. When I told them I had not asked for this to be done and they had not quoted me for this, the guy went into the back and then came back saying the mechanic was “meaning to call me but didn’t so they will remove it from the bill”. I only was coming here because it was beside where I live but I will not be returning. I’ll be filing a complaint with AMVIC.
Update on the last and final visit: I was quoted $650 plus tax for a set of rear brakes. New mechanic I found did them for $389 plus tax. So Lakeview Husky has now tried to rip me off 3 times. Horrible customer service with no integrity or accountability.

Very helpful and kind. They listen to what you say and are respectful. Small town feel with big city knowledge. Mike was awesome.

My parents say they are the most honest mechanics - they don’t scam you and are funny and smart!

Gas price is the same usually and it’s full service too. Come here sometimes for check up’s and maintenance. I have always had a good experience who’ll getting gas or getting my car worked on.

Paid $1250.00 for front brake job(rotors, pads and service calipers) Rotors warped after 6000km. Initial rotors changed out after 123,000 km. Previous vehicle went 180,000km before front brake change. Thus I do not ride the brakes. Of the 6000 kms on the new rotors 3500 was through southern Alta to Lethbridge & Medicine Hat thus no hills and no heavy braking.
Went back to GMC dealer who performed exact same work (Using higher grade OEM Parts) for $850.00.
Confirmed warped rotors were not OEM.
Dropped warped rotors and pads off to see if there is any kind of warranty two weeks ago and have heard nothing.

I would strongly discourage anyone from considering this place. I deeply regret not checking their low ratings before deciding to try their services. After paying $150 for a diagnosis, which was essentially a repeat of what I had already done with my own scanner, they informed me that they did not have the time to actually fix my vehicle. It baffles me that a shop would scan a vehicle only to turn away their customers because they claim to lack the time to complete a relatively simple sensor job. On top of this, charging such a high fee just for a scan is an outrageous and unethical practice. I urge anyone who falls victim to their scam to lodge a complaint with AMVIC, as they are meant to protect us from shops like this. To make matters worse, I had to make three separate visits and still did not get a resolution, resulting in a complete waste of my time.

This establishment's lack of competence and complete disregard for customer satisfaction is beyond laughable. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but adding to the multitude of other 1-star reviews seems necessary. I had been a loyal customer for years, but when their mechanics made a costly mistake, they didn't offer an apology or even acknowledge my dissatisfaction when I approached them. Both Jim and Michael's dismissive attitude, unprofessional behavior, and negligence are the worst I have ever encountered.Additionally, the gas prices here are exorbitantly higher than 99% of other gas stations in the city, and they don't even disclose their prices online. The overwhelming number of negative reviews for this business is alarming, and now I understand why. I will not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.A former customer

Don’t fall for the “Thank you for your comments. The location you have noted was acquired by Co-op on September 13, 2022, and as such we have forwarded your feedback to them.” comments. It seems to only apply to bad reviews and not good ones.. lol. These 1 star reviews are about HUSKY LAKEVIEW. Goes to show the lack of accountability this business embodies.

I've only ever had great experiences at this location. They answer my questions thoroughly and in a way that's easy to understand, they take my vehicle concerns seriously (unlike other places that have just brushed me off), they're very friendly and easy to talk to.

Rearranged my work schedule to fit this in. Walked to work after dropping my car off, walked back, all to find out they didn’t have time to get to my car. A call earlier in the day would have been the least they could have done. Very unprofessional.
