Booked an oil change with them. They didn't give me an exact time just told me to drop it off in the morning and they would phone me when it's done. Sort of frustrating since you can't plan anything around it. They were decently quick only took 4 hours, but within 30 minutes I had pictures of everything else they wanted to do on the car that wasn't covered by warranty obviously. They wanted to change my battery even though the vehicle only had 24,000 km on it. Always crazy to me that you can drop it off for an oil change and then get an optional $800 Bill to fix things that don't need to be fixed.
Checked the oil the next morning and they had put the bare minimum in and not even a week later it has lost some. Didn't have this problem before. Not incredibly pleased.

This place is beyond unethical. I’m doing this review on behalf of my Mom who got a recall examination for her car (obviously free) that this dealership was supposed to fix. As she was waiting for the repair she gets a text message from the dealership saying they found 4 additional issues in her car that need IMMEDIATE attention and that would also come to a whopping $2400. We were shocked because the car seemed to be in fine working order but obviously took it seriously considering if this is an actual emergency before something was to break. The price seemed insanely high though for what they wanted to fix, so I shopped around by calling other auto shops to see how much they would charge for the same thing. Safe to say they were beyond overcharging and we ended up taking her car to Bumper to Bumper auto shop and they were the nicest people who ended up telling us that NOTHING that they mentioned was even close to an emergency repair state, only the breaks could maybe be changed over in 6 months but everything else was fine. Didn’t charge us anything to inspect and they said if they would change everything that the dealership wanted to change it would only have been $1100. Absolutely unethical and appalling. The service advisor at Hyundai was Luis Reyes, should be ashamed for trying to get 60%+ more money out of customers ON TOP of saying something is an emergency fix when it’s clearly not.

Booked an appointment for some noise in the transmission. In a 2020 Kona EV. After they checked everything They said the transmission is done and needs replacement. Quoted me for 13k dollars for the change since it was over the warranty already.
Took my vehicle to Talent Auto ended up being a bearing that broke inside the transmission they flushed it out, changed the bearing, and now the car runs like brand new. Total spen 1100$ not 13k. Thanks, Hyundai for Nothing.

Booked an out of province inspection two weeks out directly with this Hyundai location. Showed up and checked the vehicle in. On the drive home I get a call that they don’t have a technician. Someone quit and someone was on vacation.Asked why this didn’t get caught until after the car was in their shop and before I took time away from work. No real answer. Something about a call centre in Regina.Asked if they could help us find another Hyundai dealer to do the inspection. NoThey didn’t even offer to rebook. No discount offered for the inconvenience. Nothing. Just left us to find another place to get the inspection done.I think I will be walking with my wallet
