A no nonsense, out of the way but accessible speciality hardware store. Particularly good for high quality door and cabinet handles, pulls, etc that you don't find at the big box stores. Gord is very knowledgeable, helpful and easy to deal with. Special orders are easy to do.

Italiyca Hardware showed me one of the best customer service experiences that I've had in years. After I had a hardware issue, Gord spent the time with me to fix the problem with some inexpensive parts, whereas the less-experienced locksmiths were encouraging me to replace an entire $500 unit. Very very impressive to see people that have mastered their craft so well. Would recommend this business in a heartbeat.

Beautiful door hardware but the service sets Italyca apart. I was just buying a small inexpensive door part but Gordon was so nice; I'd say he made my day. If you are looking for high quality and unique doors or door hardware I would visit Italyca first. Covid protocols are very good - call when you arrive and they will come let you in when the store is empty.

The fact that the staff very much understand design as well as the hardware that they are selling is a plus. Unlike other boutique places you don't feel like you are being pushed into a direction, and there is a great deal of honesty from the folks working there. Combined with the fact they are able to recommend solutions outside of their work is also immensely helpful.
