So apparently if it’s busy season and you get a flat tire which they should fix under their policy, they will refuse to do so and tell you it’s going to take 48 to 72hrs even when they have open slots for the next day? because it’s not profitable for them to honour their policy and they’d rather leave the slot open IN CASE they get a customer that they can make money off of. Their excuse is they can’t book me in because it’s not the whole car? It’s a fully flat tire, I had to put on a spare…that doesn’t make sense… Pathetic and greedy. They don’t care about customers at all. I’ve told my tires to give me a 2-3 days heads up next time so I can book my repair beforehand that way Kal Tire at Crowfoot isn’t inconvenienced by the sudden audacity of having to honour their flat tire policy.

Friendly staff, fast service. Very busy place but extremely happy with the results.

After years of good service at Crowfoot KalTire, they lost 2 customers yesterday! Last week, after almost an hours wait, they told me they had LOST my tires which were stored with them! I was to be notified mid-week when replacements arrived..no call. I confirmed they were there Friday, and booked earliest appointment Sunday. Car sat in lot for almost an hour, at which point I told them to retrieve my husband’s tires from their storage, and load mine in my car. We have taken our business elsewhere to an efficient, polite alternative.

I’m very disappointed with their service. I went there with a project on my mind for a set of new rims and tires for my vehicle.
The guy I dealt with was nice and helpful, however he lacked the product knowledge on what tires and rims will fit well and have a flush look with the fenders. He asked me to come back again and see his supervisor for better recommendations.
The supervisor wasn’t that much of a help and he lacked product knowledge as well. He asked me to come back again, because he wanted to do some research on the items that I was interested in. I went there for the third time but he wasn’t there and apparently he didn’t do anything about it. I tried calling the store asking for him but with no luck, So I gave up and stopped going there and I took my business somewhere else.

This has been a string of terrible experiences with Kal Tire Crowfoot this year. I used to really like them and have been coming to this location for over 5 years. Today will be the last time I use them. I have spent a total of 9 hours waiting at Kaltire in the past 7 days alone.
Today alone, more than 8 hours for a job they said might be 2-3 hours. They told me they are “busy” when I asked what the problem is. Well, whats the point in making an appointment if they book so much work in that my vehicle takes more than twice+ the time they say it would? Absolutely frustrating when they have my vehicle, I am stuck here. Went to the desk at 5pm, their “closing time” after seeing my vehicle outside, and it was still “waiting for an alignment”! If you can’t replace a tie rod and do an alignment in 7 hours, your shop has serious issues managing appointments, workload and staffing. Your customers are suffering for it.
The back story:
I have spent $5k here this year so far and after a few appointments detailed below, I was told they would “take care of me because I spent so much”. That was really nice to hear, but never panned out at all.
Every visit after the first one I have seen worse and worse customer service from the people at the front desk. They have no idea how to estimate time, even for simple jobs like a front end inspection. Their quotes don't include the parts required and they will add costs, as they did for mine. They also forced me to get an inspection twice despite me having a two months old quote with the parts I needed on it from the first inspection. “Every technician calls the parts something different, so we need to do another inspection”. The funny thing was, after my first inspection on day 1, and coming back another day for a drag brace replacement, they found that yet another part needed replacement (complete tie rod replacement because seized). I had to come back two days later and they still couldn’t get it un-seized, and then they didnt send me a quote like they said they would to replace it. On my third appointment spending $2500 on tires, I had to ask for the tie rod quote yet again. I came back two months later when I had the money and they made me do yet another inspection, leading to yet another appointment, today’s, with the 8hr and counting wait time.
This place drives me crazy. Everyone in the waiting room was unhappy, some had been there all day like I had. Kal Tire Crowfoot, we all expect and deserve reasonable time frames, follow-ups or notification. This has been such a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Although I had an appointment, I was waiting for 3 hours to get the car back. The appointment is useless. So frustrated of seeing my car at the parking lot for 2.5 hours. Never again

Do not use the general call center!! Ordered winter tires and was told they would be at the crowfoot store the following week. I was also informed that appointments cannot be made for dropping off loose wheels for remounting. When I arrived the morning g I was told they would arrive, i was told that they couldn’t find the order and that none of the tire I did order were in stock in western canada.
No apology given and they were too busy after all that to flip the rotation direction on one single tire so I could at least have 2 good winter tires on my sons front wheel drive vehicle until we could make a new plan. My wife and I had used the Crowfoot shop many time over the years - but we will not be back.

Quality issues with their service. They swapped my summer to winter tyres. Winter tyres were mounted on rims I bought from Kal tire. They forgot to install the hub rings. I took the car home and experienced severe vibrations on all 4 wheels. I checked the hardware bag and saw the 4 rings still in it. I called and was kept on hold for over an hour. So I decided to drive to the branch and saw a few people free there . I asked why I was on hold for 1 hour , they said they were “busy” with other things. I requested the issue looked at. They took the vehicle in later that day and installed the rings, no apology, no explanation. Nothing! I’m appalled that Kal tire would make such a mistake. How could they be trusted with anything more extensive? This is not the first time I had a problem at this branch, on one other occasion they installed my staggered tyres incorrectly. The wider rear tyres were installed in the front, resulting in the tyre touching the inside wheel well. Come on kal tire, you must go better than this.

Revised Review !!
My wife recently had a disappointing experience at this Kal Tire Location.
She Just needed a flat tire repaired that was already off of the vehicle. Just Drop it off and pick it up later. Shouldn’t be an issue. Unfortunately, it is that time of year when people are switching over their winter and summer tires. So Kal Tire was busy and were not as helping as maybe they should have been.
Unfortunately, flat tires occur at all kinds of different times of the year and need to be accommodated just as much as any other tire requirement. I am updating my review because although my wife did not enjoy her experience there, I’ve had my own vehicles there several times and have been happy with the results, although I have also run into the exact same issue with a flat tire before. Can’t control when flats occur !

First time visiting Kal Tire, and I was seriously impressed. I’ve managed car dealerships for years, so I know how stressful it can be when it’s busy and you’re staying late to take care of customers. Despite the rush today, the entire team was professional, kind, and went above and beyond while installing my new tires. Everyone there deserves a big bonus this month—they’ve absolutely earned it!

This is the worst tire shop
First visit they said they could fix my tires so I went back the next day
Second visit they said they couldn't fix it and I had to replace the tires
Even that day I lost 2 of my parts but I found one and still haven't received the other
Third visit I tried to replace the tires but they said they ordered the wrong tires so I had to reorder
And today on the fourth visit they said the tires didn't arrive
They didn't call in advance so I was left in limbo
And the fifth visit is scheduled for next week and I still doubt they will replace them properly
I've put up with it so far but they don't seem to be professionals so I'm leaving a review
They don't seem to know that their customers' time is important and they don't know how to do their job
If they replace them properly on the last visit I will delete or edit my review
The reason I'm leaving a review is simple
If they did their job properly they would tell me on the first visit that it's better to replace the tires and replace them on the second visit and that's it, it's a simple task
But I'm leaving a review because I think the ridiculous and repeated mistakes that make customers visit five times are serious problems.

Went in to get a a tire repaired, told me next day for a tire repair….This was in the morning and they wanted me to leave it and pick up the following day. I just went across the road and had it done in 45 minutes to their competitor
