I recently visited Leader Auto Service on a relative’s recommendation, taking my recently purchased used car in for an inspection. I was really impressed with the service from start to finish! They were flexible with drop-off times, which made it easy for me to plan my day. Though the parking lot is a bit small given the number of cars that come through, the check-in process was smooth—I was greeted as soon as I entered the office, and a mechanic promptly came to collect my keys.
By the end of the day, they called to walk me through the inspection results. Unfortunately, the news wasn’t great; my car turned out to be in far worse shape than I’d hoped (a tough $4,000 lesson). I appreciated how clear and honest they were in explaining everything. They even waived the inspection fee as a gesture of empathy, which I found genuinely kind and above-and-beyond.
We’ll definitely be returning here as a family. Leader Auto Service is honest, straightforward, and trustworthy—a great find for anyone looking for quality, reliable auto care!

Charged me ~129$ for an oil change on my Honda Civic, which is a little more than the other options, which were closer to 100-120$ at the high end.
The shop did accidentally overcharge me, but they called me a week afterward to pay me back, completely hassle free.

I've been taking my vehicle to Leader for a few years now and have always received excellent and honest service from all the people there, especially Michael, Brad, and Andrew.
Recently, I had a leaking brake line on my Suburban and hobbled my way to them to have it fixed. I can say that they delivered again, but on a whole new level. They replaced all my lines with unprecedented professionalism. Their attention to detail was beyond outstanding. If I could, I would give them 6 stars.
I would recommend Leader for all of your automotive needs, as you can rest easy knowing that your vehicle is in good hands.
Oh, and they make an awesome cup of coffee, too. ;o)
Keep up the good work Leader team, you're #1 in Calgary.

Without a doubt the best mechanic shop I've ever been to. Straight away the first thing you notice is how honest and transparent they are with you. Everything that was wrong with my Jetta was clearly explained and I was shown exactly what the issues were. When they did actually do the work (break and suspension issues), any of the new parts that they didn't use they returned and I wasn't charged for. Their work was flawless and they're very friendly and easy to work with. The whole experience was less expensive and went faster than I initially expected. I am honestly so impressed with Leader I will fore sure be using them again and I have been and will continue recommending them to everyone I know.

Honestly there’s a lot of dishonest mechanics out there, I don’t trust anyone but the owner and overall team from Leaders. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
They helped me with my vehicle that was previously sold to me with critical issues I didn’t even know about, past mechanics said oh ya it’s good or would charge on every little thing while Leaders were open and honest about every little thing. Trust is everything, this is by far the best in Calgary city with reasonable prices.

HONEST… I was recommended to this shop for their expertise in European cars and honesty when dealing with customers. The recommendation was not unwarranted. I had to have my vehicle checked out for a check engine light and was hoping it would be covered under a third-party powertrain warranty that was purchased for the vehicle. Unfortunately, the problem was not covered under warranty, and I just recently lost my job so money is very tight for our household. Brad, the manager, was so understanding and really went above and beyond investigating options and even calling the warranty service to try and navigate whether they would be willing to cover something. It sucks to have something like this happen but I felt very taken care of and would definitely trust this shop for future diagnosis, service, and repairs. 5 stars easily. Especially for Brad

The place to bring in your vehicle for any work you need. Mike and Brad are so incredibly helpful, very knowledgeable and the nicest people you'll ever meet. Their work is honest and professional, the mechanics too are very serious about their work and will take good care of your vehicle.

They took the time to explain everything in a way that I could understand and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The people their where very nice and kind however a little overpriced some customers I saw were very rude and demanding however they didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing and so ordering random stuff and getting angry over the price tag
